The bungalow is located right on the lagoon's edge, with the water lapping a few metres below the seating. Inside there is everything you need, Hinatea has tried to think of everything to make the stay special. It's a small property but it's really comfortable for a couple. There was a problem with the water supply and the host was proactive and very supportive. Tahiti is a busy, bustling island and you can hear the cars passing but the location, the privacy and the lovely garden makes this an oasis. Great for a couple of nights stay.

This place is like an oasis in an oasis. It is serene welcoming and private. We had a lovely time alone and also meeting Nicolai and Maire which was the absolute bonus part. I feel so lucky to have chosen their place. You will need a car but there is an incredible grocery steps away from their place. I loved it when the concrete gate started opening up and all of a sudden you see this most beautiful garden on the water w an area to launch a kayak to go swimming and snorkeling in the ocean. Loved loved loved it!!!

Great cute place to stay. Garden is amazingly organized with lot of greenery and flowers. As the host recommends, a car is needed to get around the area. Nice beach nearby by walk 10 minutes by car 3 minutes. Roasters start ‘singing’ very early. Host is very helpful and responsive.

Traveling on a budget, this is the perfect place on Moorea! Cozy one room bungalow, bathroom separate. Great outdoor sitting area with beautiful view. The beach, right off the deck, is superb. It’s raked daily of tide debris. I spent time napping/ reading in the hammock. I ventured out several times for a swim/ snorkeling. Great snorkeling spot! Kayaks available, but I didn’t use them. I was entertained by stingrays, tiny sharks(totally harmless), and beach crabs close to beach. I even touched the well known stingray that hangs around. The owners pets were a plus for me as I was missing my own. Happy rescued dogs loving head scratches from new people has a special place in my heart. The owners are extremely sweet and helpful with any needs or advice on eating/ to do establishments. To Americans, this would be a slight step up from “ glamping”. I absolutely loved this place. No ac, but breezy and fan kept us comfortable. I’m telling friends visiting about this place planning their trip

Extraordinary stay at Nicolas's, friendly, warm, welcoming … Nicolas helped us as soon as we arrived in Papeete. Small fresh surprise upon our arrival at the bungalow, Nicolas is very attentive to his tenants and gave us plenty of good tips for our trip. The bungalow is just as exceptional, charming, ideally located on the island, clean, peaceful, functional and very close to the beach, we loved our stay at Nicolas's, we will come back 😉 I recommend it without so much as a second thought, you won't be disappointed, that's for sure! An atypical home with an open-plan living experience, it was very nice to stay in. The view was really super beautiful, on the lagoon, magnificent. Lots of beautiful wooden things, table, chandelier, handmade. A very nice decoration. A great discovery.

Stayed a second time at this property during the return portion of a Bora-Bora trip. Great location right by the airport. Perfect for a short layover when connecting on to other islands. There is a bus stop right outside that takes you in to town for a few dollars. Home was spotless and looked just like the photos.
