Smoking, vaping, e‑cigarettes are NOT allowed in the cabin, porch nor the property. We provide a gate pass to Table Rock just 15 min. away. (If the pass is lost during your stay, you will be charged $105 fee)

This cabin is a great basecamp for heading to Pisgah and Dupont. Located within a mile of downtown, yet you feel like you are out in the country. There are beautiful mountain and pasture views from the back porch. There is a house on one side of the cabin, but a fence in between for privacy. Sit on the back porch and watch the Scottish Highland cattle graze while you enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. This property is on a working farm, so you may see farm equipment around the property.

Our cabin is located 15 minutes from downtown Brevard and 20 minutes from downtown Hendersonville which both offer lots of local shops and dinning. Walnut Grove Farmhouse, a renovated 1930s era home, is a remnant of an old farm. We are situated on 17 acres of rolling hills with handsome views from the upper pasture along with a stand of 14 walnut trees. Sit a spell on the porch, listen to the trickling brook (a roaring brook when we get significant rain), the sound of birds, the sounds at night and maybe some turkeys will venture through. We are located midway between Franklin and Dillsboro, Sylva, Cullowhee.
