This was our second stay with Jon Robert & Anna. It is a beautiful place across a small road from the lake with mountain views - including views of waterfalls & the glacier. The apartment is decorated with personal touches, making you feel like you are at home. There are MANY things to do just a drive away. Ålesund is only an hour away. We also drove to Runde (the famous bird island) from here. Jon Robert has a printed guide book with exact routes on driving tours of the area. He is so helpful and friendly. The apartment is very clean, and in very good condition.

Trandal is special. You need some planning with the ferries to get there, but that is just part of the charm. The views are amazing. How great to have you kids enjoying themselves on the playgrund constructed by Jørn and is neighbour, while enjoying the greatest view and peace yourselves. Also great: a hiking trail just back from the house up the mountain, swimming in the Fjord at the fishing dock and enjoying the great atmosphere and food at the local reataurant. The people in Trandal we've met were kind and welcomming. Jørn's place is a spacious appartment and has everything you need for a perfect stay. Jørn was swift and friendly in communication.

Fjord farmhouse with breathtaking Fjordview!

We recently stayed at Terje’s charming farmhouse in Norway’s Hjørundfjord, and it was a special experience. The farmhouse blends old-world charm with modern amenities and offers breathtaking views of the fjord. The house is equipped with all modern comforts, including a well-stocked kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, a big-screen smart TV, an outdoor hot tub, and comfortable beds to accommodate a large group. Two ferry ports a short drive from the farmhouse offer free rides to Ålesund, the roadless village of Trandal, and other destinations. Terje was exceptionally hospitable, providing great recommendations for local hiking activities and promptly responding to all our inquiries. He went above and beyond to make our stay at the farmhouse exceptional. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful and picturesque getaway!

Extraordinary stay, highly recommended! The views from the cabin are amazing. Even in bad weather it is a true pleasure spending time there. The cabin is very cosy and well equipped, communication with the host easy and very welcoming.

Such a nice place!!! We have spent 2 wonderful days at Anne-Kari’s place. The apartment is really super nice and everything we needed was available. And on top of it the environment is an absolute dream. Anne-Kari was helpful, friendly and responsive. Thanks 🙏!!

Had a fabulous two week stay over Christmas and New Year’s. A holiday to remember. Great access to nearby Topptur skiing, fjord saunas, and Ålesund. Cabin is so cosy and has all you need. Got to see the northern lights over the cabin! Didn’t want to leave at the end of the stay. Andreas was very accommodating when we were dealing with a snowstorm on check out day!

We had a lovely stay at Sverre, Ruth & Geirs Cabin. The location is great and the views are really wonderful. Inside you find everything that you need from kitchen utensils to a pool table and skis. It is so cozy in the chairs, with the fireplace on and it’s snowing outside. We would recommend and come back again anytime. Thank you for the perfect trip!
