Vacation rentals with a kayak in Sydney

Rivescape is located in a beautiful part of the world, the setting is quite magical and being able to only access by boat adds to this. check in and out was seamless, assisted by boat transfer included. The property is a good size and well equipped. The view is the absolute highlight and you could spend all weekend just gazing at it! There is a small boat, kayaks and SUPB, lots of games for the rainy weather too. We had a minor issue with some of cleanliness but this was addressed promptly by owners which we appreciated I also left some jewellery behind and they have assisted to get back to me- great communication and greatly appreciated. This is slightly on the more expensive end for a weekend away for a smaller group, but a wonderfully unique experience. Thankyou Sharon and Tom.

Sue’s AirBnB overlooking Pittwater was simply breathtaking - and, it was the ideal location & accomodation for my family & I to unite for my Milestone Birthday. The amenities & photos were accurately reflected in the AirBnB listing, Sue was very helpful and we all really enjoyed our 3 days in this lovely home. There are a couple of points to note: There was a noticeable musty smell in places, which I think was from there being a lot of wood throughout the home, and with being close to the waters edge too……and in the evenings, when we surpassed the dew point, we heard the dripping of water on the roof of the outdoor patio downstairs & that water dripping continued on into the night. Initially we thought it was raining, but it wasn’t. However, we soon got used to that & it didn’t impact our stay. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The home was well appointed, the water view was stunning & the memories that we all made together will stay with us always. Many Thanks Sue.

One of the best AirBnB experiences we have so far. Host was extremely responsive, friendly and kind all the times. House was fully equipped (you name it: kitchen utensils, toilet paper, wood for fire pit, even a party laser light and a soundbar on the external area!). Host was kind enough to one day even ask us if we wanted anything from the grocery store (as it is around 20min drive to the nearest Woolies). She also recently bought a jumping castle for the kids, so it really felt we were been taken care of. As the ad says, is a “farm house”, so it will have some spider webs here and there, but you can see that is not for poor maintenance or lack of cleaning. It’s just the nature of where the house is. We were in a 4 families group, and everyone enjoyed our stay and how Megan dealt with us the whole time. Was indeed an unforgettable Easter :)

Loved our stay at Ilana’s house. The setting is lovely, rooms very comfortable and we spent many happy hours sitting around the table on the deck admiring the view. It’s so nice to go to an air bnb that has the kitchen essentials. Thank you Ilana, hope we can return one day.

Great stay close to everything you need in the Penrith area

We had a fabulous stay here, the house is stunning and location is so peaceful. Beautiful view out of the balconies. The house had everything we needed for a big group - it has plenty of space, great layout so all of the bedrooms still felt private. Great recommendations for things to do when we arrived too. We particularly enjoyed going out on the kayaks! Lots of beautiful beaches nearby, the closest grocery store was just a few minutes drive. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Penny’s beach house was the perfect idyll from which to enjoy sleepy, stunning Patonga. The house was light, airy, comfortable and clean. Loved the balcony and the egg chair for sunlit afternoons reading and snoozing before long walks on the beach and kayaking up the creek. Thanks for having us.

The Cottage is a quaint, clean comfortable waterside pad in which to enjoy the truly tranquil surrounds of Berowra Waters. Sue was a terrific, warm and friendly host. We were grateful for the pick up service, kayaks, tinnie and tips. Well stocked kitchen and lots of games. Highly recommended.

Thank you for a wonderful stay. We 6 adults for the weekend. There was plenty of space, the house was extremely clean, and very comfortable. We loved the open-plan kitchen/dining/loungeroom. Huge lounge, and a lovely big outdoor deck area, leading off the lounge. It was great having two bathrooms. The kitchen was very well stocked. Everything worked well. The location is so beautiful. Hope to be back.

Louise's place is beautifullll - I would stay there again in a heartbeat. We had such a lovely weekend there, the house is gorgeous and homey and has everything you need. The location is just stunning! It was so peaceful, there's some beautiful walks to do (including a nice waterfall!). There's absolutely nothing I'd change about it all - if you get a chance to stay here, definitely do.

We had a relaxing stay at Stephanie’s cottage. The place was perfect for a long weekend away and location is stunning. Stephanie was a great host and our teenagers particularly loved feeding and being led on a pony ride. We enjoyed fishing, walking our dog off lead at local reserves and picking apples at Bilpin. We a family of four stayed at Jemma' s place for a four day trip. it is an amazing time, super comfortable and plenty of amenities to support daily needs. especially kids friendly 👍😉 very proactive and supportive host the whole time. Highly recommended.

4 days at Captains Cabin was so relaxing. We went kyacking around the island & to Lovetts. Fished off the jetty & caught so many different types of fish. Flathead, Snapper, Brim, Flounder, Whiting... Scotland Island is full of lovely alternate locals wandering by & wildlife.

A lovely retreat with kind hosts who completed the space with thoughtful details. A great location to explore the mountains, highly recommend!

We’ve stayed before, it was again lovely

A fantastic stay in a rustic cabin. Mackerel Beach is a stunning spot, and this cabin makes the most of it with an incredible upper deck offering breathtaking views—not to mention what might be the best outdoor shower I’ve ever experienced! The perfect escape from the city to unwind and explore the simple things — cooking, bush trails, walks and swimming. We took our two young boys who loved it (they were also absolutely fine making the journey up to the cabin).

Absolutely beautiful property, wish we could have stayed longer, although lack of mobile reception had us city slickers suffering mild withdrawals!

We had a lovely stay at Astrid’s riverside cabin. It was a lovely, secluded weekend away. We enjoyed kayaking on the river and Col who did the boat transfers for us was fantastic as well. Would highly recommend as a couples getaway.

Second time coming here and it was as good as the first. Made awesome memories here two times, feels like home
