Had a short stay at Barley Croft lodge. Ray was great he rang to check if everything was ok with our lodge and was very polite and helpful. The lodge is in lovely surroundings with lots to do locally. It was ideal for our 1 year old daughter who could wander on the veranda safely and look at the two donkeys in the adjacent field. The lodge has everything you need and is close by the villages of Melbourne and Breedon have places to visit. An all around great experience. Thank you Ray.

Orchard View offered us a grand weekend stay, fully equipped with everything you may need. Decorated to a high standard and delightfully clean. The view was particularly lovely. Tricky to find so arrive in the light if you can!

We've just returned from a weekend break at this beautifully presented and well equipped property. Carol communicated with us excellently and the addition of a few goodies left for us on our arrival was a lovely touch, her help with information on walks from the property and places to eat were second to none. The property is just a short walk into the town of Ashbourne, and perfect to explore the local area Thank you Carol, a perfect birthday weekend.

Grace’s place was a home from home, clean, spacious and had everything you could need for a stay away. Shops were within walking distance and lots of public transport links to get where needed. Parking on the street was only a short walk away.

Just finished a lovely couple of days stay with our two teen girls and dogs. Well fitted out and very clean cabin with comfy beds and linen. Great space to relax and unwind with fab restaurants and shops within the Marina. Rob is a great host providing loads of info plus additionally going above and beyond when our car had a fault guiding us to a garage locally who fixed the problem the next day! We’ll be back!

A great host, very fast responses to our very late notice booking, everything was ready for us within a hour of booking. Super clean and comfortable house with great facilities, perfect for a 3 generation family break. Would recommend and would be happy to stay again. This is a great hidden gem in the country side! Perfect for a relaxing summer afternoon/evening overlooking stunning views. The place was super clean and tidy and felt very welcoming. Abigail was super informative about the local area and how to access the cabin. Thanks for having us.

A great cottage, very private and had all the amenities. Philippa was always on hand if needed. The local walks were excellent with lovely views. Shout out to the local pub which specialises in amazing pies! Would recommend!

Hotel standard bedrooms and bathrooms. Very convenient location near Trent Bridge. Living area and kitchen all good quality, although we didn't need these this time.
