Rainforest farm

Umvuleni farm is situated approx. 15 kms from the Drak gardens turnoff. Consists of a main house and smaller outbuilding. The main house consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and an open plan living area. The smaller outbuilding has 2 rooms and a single bathroom. Large open lawns allow kids to ride bikes and run to their hearts content. For those keen anglers the dam is stocked and waiting for your first cast. The firepit will allow you to keep warm whilst enjoying the great outdoors.

Two Springs Cottage

The cottage is in the garden next to our family home with a security fence, on a working sheep and cattle farm. The space is well decorated, spacious, neat and clean. It gets wonderful afternoon sun making it light and airy. The cottage has all the necessary amenities for a very comfortable stay. We are situated outside of Swartberg, halfway between Underberg and Kokstad. Located conveniently right off the R617 making it easily accessible with minimal gravel road. Rates are per person.

It has a Queen Bedroom with a small bathroom which has a shower and the usual amenities. There is an open-plan kitchen and living area with a three seater couch and TV with DSTV selected channels. Daily cleaning, linen and bath towels provided. WiFi is only at reception and signal is limited.

A tranquil experience on our beautiful farm situated in the Southern Drakensberg, KZN. Tastefully decorated and includes a Deli (offers breakfast, lunch & dinner) situated in full view of a beautiful dam and hillside country. The Villa is not pet friendly. Farm activities: Hiking trails, picnics (on request), outside hot tub (book 1 day in advance), milking cows, star gazing, fishing, bird watching and horse riding (book 2 days in advance).

It took a little longer than expect to get there because of the road construction, but she was super understanding. She was kind enough to allow me to use her freezer because I was carrying food from Durban to East London. Her cleaning lady helped us carry our bags and was very pleasant.

What a great place to stay on our road trip. The property is historic and yet everything inside is modern. Bed was very comfortable. Arranged dinner and breakfast at homestead and both meals were great.

An absolute little treasure nestled in the berg. We had a great mini getaway and were extremely impressed by this charming cottage. The cottage itself was extremely clean and provided everything you could need for a self-catering stay. We were well looked after by Farouk too who was super friendly. Samantha replied to messages and was very willing to assist. 11/10, definitely recommend and definitely want to come back!

Dear Jurie & Team, we were only able to stay for one night, but wished we could have stayed much longer! Your whole team was super kind, the restaurant had an excellent young chef and the food was just amazing. The ranch offers various outdoor activities such as hiking. We went on one 5km trail which offered several beautiful view points as well as waterfalls. There were however many more options such as fishing, kayaking, cycling or getting into a jacuzzi. Thanks again for the lovely hospitality and we are hoping to be back sometime soon!

We had a lovely stay at the cottage, the views are just out of this world. We really enjoyed the “stoep” , it was a great place to spend lazy afternoons and to sit around the fire pit in the evenings. The bedrooms are spacious and the linen was great quality and very comfortable. We could not ask for a better place to spend some quality family time together! Thank you so much!

Ndawana River Lodge- Underberg- 8 Sleeper

We needed to escape from the town and decided to treat ourselves to a night in the berg. The house was large and the surroundings were picturesque. Unfortunately the landscape had recently been burnt, I assume fire breaks, so the view wads not great. The location was nice and the farm easy to find. We had enough fore wood and blankets and the main bed was HUGE!!! Lovely stay, will be back in the summer season.
