Cabin vacation rentals in Swansea

We arrived just before the sun started to set and the view across the wetlands was absolutely magical! Lots of wildlife visible from the balcony, which was great! We had everything we needed, and the place was very cosy and comfortable. The cabin felt secluded and private, but was just a short drive to Launceston. Easy to find too, and the directions were helpful. We loved our stay here and will definitely be back

We had a lovely stay at Orchard’s nest for my partner’s 40th. It was really relaxing, beautifully furnished, the bed and linen were so comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Absolutely recommend for a place to relax and reset.

Such a lovely spot to have had the pleasure of staying at! All of the small details make it feel even more like home, and especially the sauna and hot tub being highlights. The little garden and plants throughout were also delightful, along with the neighbours chickens who made a special appearance 😃

Such a peaceful and relaxing place to end our Tassie trip. Gorgeous little cottage in a beautiful area. Thanks so much to Karen for being so friendly and making us feel at home. The kids really enjoyed picking your yummy fresh fruit with you and playing frisbee and finska on the lawn. Definitely recommend!

A beautiful accommodation, and very helpful host.

Susie and Gordon have a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Very peaceful and has everything you could ask for and more. They were very responsive and helpful during our stay. A car is highly recommended for this trip as there isn’t much public transport and there are lovely farms, wineries, waterfalls and beaches nearby to explore. We would love to stay again. Couldn’t have chosen a better spot for our first holiday together.

Wow, wow, wow…we have just left Whale Song behind but will always have a little place in our hearts. We had such a special stay with our 19 month old, slow mornings on the deck, bacon sandwiches on the little private beach at the bottom of house, afternoons collecting shells at the lagoon- the perfect slow and relaxing holiday! The place was just beautiful and a gorgeous shack to unwind in.

The cabin is an absolutely gorgeous space and has everything you would need to enjoy your time in Derby. It’s been really thoughtfully put together - and that morning sun in the living and kitchen area is divine! Julia is a responsive and helpful host - when we reached out with some questions she quickly responded and sorted out what we needed.

Great former bakery stay. Quiet neighborhood, easy access to Launceston and DeLoraine and beyond. Stephanie was very welcoming and it was great to see the White House, too.

Casey was very responsive and helpful. The place was great and had wood and fire starters ready for me. 🔥 Would stay again.

Perfect location for a peaceful afternoon and night before the 3 Capes walk

Macey went above and beyond to make us very welcome and comfortable . We were able to check out later which gave us a little more time to pack up. We loved the outdoor fireplace the firewood was all ready and well stocked . Very cosy and homey , very comfortable bed and crisp linen. The record player was a hit and enjoyed the board games . Make sure you are well stocked up and prepare if cooking to save time and money with shopping etc however there is enough great cafes and unique restaurants around . Great facilities for dogs and dog friendly beach close by . If there was a laundry it would totally be a 10/10 however that did not disappoint us as it wasn’t a priority . A wonderful relaxing place and totally recommend if you like to be away from the hustle and bustle . Beautiful flora and fauna surrounding in particular the birds and flowers . A home with character !

We had a magic stay at Shannon's place, close to Freycinet NP. so peaceful, amazing sun sets and lovely wildlife, the place was very tidy and had everything we needed. would definitely stay again. thanks Shannon. 😊

What a beautiful location this was! Very private & secluded. It was raining, so we snuggled up with the fire going and just relaxed! Loved the recommendations for local places, we checked most of them out 🥰 The place was super clean, cosy and you felt way way way up in the sky. The food provided was insanely generous and yummy! Thank you! Would recommend this place in a heart beat 😊

Such a fantastic stay! The house was so well appointed and it was also great to have a little supermarket down the road too. All the windows overlook beautiful Australian bush and the bath is a must-do. The kitchen had everything we needed (we cooked at home over the three nights) and a fantastic coffee machine too. We had a very pleasant and calm 4-nights stay, the house is beautiful, comfy and well equipped. Surroundings and highlands lakes are beautiful and not crowded. The view from the terrasse is indeed stunning and the name of the place (stunning lake view) is deserved ! The host gave clear instructions, was friendly and immediately responsive each time we had to contact her. We do recommend it !

Heidi’s place was such a gorgeous find! It felt so homey, and we loved relaxing and unwinding in the beautiful natural surroundings. We were honestly a little disappointed we didn’t have more time to enjoy everything ; the telescope, the amazing bath and shower, and the overall relaxing atmosphere were all incredible. Heidi’s thoughtfulness really stood out , she reached out beforehand to ask if we had any food preferences/ intolerances she should cater for, and even left us a fresh loaf of bread, which was such a lovely touch. The information folder was super handy, and we truly enjoyed every moment of our stay. Thank you for creating such a special and welcoming place!

An amazingly peaceful and natural setting. We loved being completely off-grid and immersed in nature. We spent most of our time walking around the beautiful lake areas and watching the various deer herds. Kendra was a lovely host and we really enjoyed out time with her.

We had the privilege of staying at magical Kelp Cottage in January. Please see my review from January, it not just as good as but even better in our return. We had the most wonderful time and so made a return trip from Melbourne end of March to celebrate my partner’s birthday. When we arrived late Thursday night everything was as perfect as before with the delight of a welcoming gift for Russell’s birthday. Unfortunately I had (not at the property) an accident which resulted in severe injuries, ambulance to the Royal Hobart and a lengthy op. Martin was absolutely fantastic when contacted by my partner and he organised somewhere close to the hospital for him to stay. I am so grateful to Marin and Karen and I do hope we can return in the future.

The view is amazing!! Waking up to the sunrise must be one of the highlights of our trip so far. Plenty of space and easy to get to

Lovely cabin surrounded by nature with all the amenities that made the place feel cozy and right at home (outdoor bath, fireplace, bbq, large TV). Close to the CBD and bushwalks. Responsive hosts who were very helpful. Would definitely stay again.
