Inga is incredible host. I felt immediately as though I was a guest in the home of a friend. Everything was so clean and I loved the close proximity to the beach where I walked every day. She also has two lovely cats who were quiet and very friendly.

this apartment is nice and practical, close to the center (10min in car) and to the biggest swimming pool in Reykjavik (10min by foot) it was neat and clean and it is à very good place to visit the city Hördur was nice and fast to answer when we got à problem. He fixed it as quickly as one could wish

Absolutely wonderful, and one of the best places I've stayed at through Airbnb. I felt cozy and at home in the apartment, which has a lived-in feel and fantastic design. I would have liked to spend even more time in the space, and enjoyed sitting on the balcony and looking out at the ocean, Reykanes Peninsula, and neighboring houses. The bed and linens were very comfortable, and the black-out curtains made it easy enough to fall asleep even with jetlag and the bright June nights. Great kitchen too. The neighborhood is a very peaceful residential one, and a quick walk to the ocean, the swimming pool and cafes in Vesturbaer, and the university, and accessible to downtown by a quick bus ride or a 30-minute walk. Ragnar and André are excellent hosts, so very easy to communicate with, and offered great recommendations. Overall I highly recommend for a unique Reykjavík experience!

We absolutely loved our stay. The apartment was our homebase. We traveled daily to various hikes and other activities and always returned back to the apartment, which is warm and welcoming. The kitchen was excellently stocked, we took advantage of that cooking meals, taking advantage of the fresh fish available at local markets. On days that we did not go out hiking , the walk into downtown was easy. The free parking at the apartment was great. The little bakery right downstairs was very nice. There’s so much to do in Iceland will have to come back and if we do, we would stay here again without a doubt. Highly recommended!

Das Zimmer bei Gudrun war perfekt. Es ist ausreichend groß und hat Zugang zu einem Balkon. Die Küche und das Bad werden gemeinsam genutzt, was aber kein Problem ist. Das Frühstück fanden wir super. Gudrun ist sehr freundlich und hat uns viel über die Gegend und Island erzählt. Wir würden es wieder buchen.

The house is much larger than expected and set in a lovely neighbourhood, close to a fantastic pool only 10 mins away. Unfortunately we didn’t get to use the hot tub as the weather was pretty bad on our trip, but the location is great. Easy walk into town (30mins) or close to bus stops which run like clockwork! You can also walk 45 mins along the coast to the geothermal beach which we loved! The only thing I would say is to bring an eye mask in summer as the nights stay light and the curtains are not black out. Thanks for letting us stay in your beautiful home and letting us feel like locals!

The apartment is very cozy and well equipped. location is great, public transportation close by, grocery store is 2 minutes walking distance. I really enjoyed my time during the stay! Although not lucky enough to see the aurora, my week was cloudy and rainy.

Great place to stay for a few nights in the city! The location was ideal--quiet, yet super close to restaurants and nightlife. There was always parking available right outside the door. The apartment itself was spacious and gave the two of us room to spread out a bit. There is a nice covered patio out back but just a note--you can't see the sky from it or anywhere in the apt. So if you want to have a quick peek to see if the aurora is visible you have to leave the building. :)

Die Kommunikation mit Patrick hat makellos geklappt. Die Reaktionszeit auf Nachrichten war sehr kurz. Obwohl sich unser Check-in auf Grund der Autovermietung verzögert hatte, war das kein Problem, da Patrick zu Hause war. In der Zeit während dem Aufenthalt durften wir sämtliche Küchengeräte mitbenutzen, hatten im Kühlschrank ein Regal für uns. In den 4 Tagen haben wir uns fast nie gesehen und wenn wir da waren haben wir uns nicht gestört gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist für meinen Geschmack sehr stilvoll eingerichtet. Für Menschen mit Knie oder Rückenprobleme: die Wohnung liegt im 4. Stock. Für uns war es eine sportliche Übung. Die Unterkunft ist auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert. Das Konzerthaus und der Hafen sind nur ca. 15 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. In der Umgebung gibt es ausreichend Lebensmittelgeschäfte. Für den Aufenthalt möchte ich einfach DANKE sagen.
