Our stay was wonderful! The home is beautiful and we enjoyed it so much! Bouwien was a great host with clear communication and always responsive. we would recommend this home to anyone visiting the beautiful town of Montagu.

Our stay at Fonteinskloof was amazing (cottage 4)! The location and cottage was private and cozy, exactly what we hoped for. Our host Michael was so friendly, helpful and extra caring. Went the extra mile throughout our stay and even brought us chocolate eggs on Easter morning! He also did an amazing antelope game drive with us which was worth every cent! Beauty of this property is an understatement. Well maintained and absolutely outstanding surroundings. We’ll definitely be back!

Jonathan and Rosie were excellent hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The accommodation is new and spacious, even more so than shown on the listing. I loved the shower! It's a lovely open, uncluttered space with everything you need. We were able to take our two dogs and enjoyed walks nearby. The perfect getaway!

A nice place to stay in a lovely town. We arrived in the rain, so walking wasn't a great option, but a short drive to restaurants. We struggled a bit with the directions to get in but Alida arrived within minutes to help us out. Wine was appreciated after a long days drive.

Amazing location, my brother caught his PB Cob while we were in Witsand which made the trip even more special. The kids loved it. Recommended for anyone who wants to experience unspoiled nature. Cannot wait to go again.

Leigh’s house has unparalleled views of the river estuary. The home is very well appointed and in a secure estate. It’s close enough to moor your boat at the Breede river lodge which is very convenient. We will be back again for sure.

Rex was a friendly, kind host and their cottage is surrounded by mountains and bird life. We only stayed 1 night en route to Cape Town and ate out for dinner so didn’t use the facilities much but the plunge pool and patio must be very welcoming on hot days!

Lovely home on the Breede, great position and wonderful deck and braai area. Everything you need and the use of the SUPs and canoe is a bonus!

We had such a wonderful week at the Breathe cottage. It is so cute and the views over the river were just wonderful. Had coffee in bed looking out over the river and braai in the evening on the stoep watching the sun go down. The house was so well kitted with utensils and everything and more that you might need. We were sad to leave!

The place is comfortable and spacious and we had a great time. Particularly appreciated the modern and spacious fridge as we needed to store a lot of food for the weekend :) The garden is amazing and the pool was great if a bit cold.

The house is incredibly well-equipped with everything we needed, offering plenty of space and comfort. The atmosphere was peaceful and restorative, with the river right outside our door, perfect for swimming and paddling. After a stunning paddle, we enjoyed a relaxing braai while watching the breathtaking sunset. It’s the kind of place that makes you truly appreciate the present moment with friends and family, the kids had an absolute ball. If you’re looking for a quiet, beautiful, and well-thought-out spot to unwind, this is the place to be. Can’t wait to return!

Kim's home at the river is a perfect weekend getaway or even longer stay. The Riverine is a special place. Highly recommend staying here.

Sometimes on this platform you find a place that is so special, you can't believe your luck! Goodings Country House is a gem, tucked away in it's own valley with sweeping views over olive groves and the distant mountains and so quite and peaceful. The garden and farm is beautiful, and the infinity pool is brilliant but its the house that is really wow. It feels like a grand old Karoo farmhouse with big rooms and a wonderful feel and very spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. The best are all the touches - wonderful old renovated furniture, spectacular artwork and bookcases around every corner filled with Africana classics! And the most wonderful stoep to braai on and enjoy the views. Ands it's only 20 minutes to McGregor, Bonnievale and the wine farms. We had such a great time here and can't wait to come back!
