The Castello di Menaggio (former castle) is history. Traffic is restricted, so very quiet, with a great lake view. It has a large roof-top terrace and a balcony. A/C in main bedroom, full kitchen, dishwasher and washing machine. Common garden available (no dogs allowed in garden). A 5 minutes walk (downhill) to the center. Private parking, or ideal without a car. Absolutely no-smoking. Not even in the balcony or terrace. Town tourist tax of 3 €/person/day from March to Nov. payable on arrival.

It is quiet in a small traditional village with no cars, only small passages between the houses. It is a great location for water sports, hiking, mountain biking, or just playing around on the beach. This place has a beautiful view and a beautiful balcony/ garden area. It was extremely peaceful and good for someone looking for a quiet trip to Como. Elisabetta and Sara were very responsive and kept good communication. We would stay again for a peaceful get away. Everything was clean and updated just as described. It was good value for the price paid. I will say it is hard to transfer to and from anywhere else unless you drive your own car. If you stay here I would HIGHLY recommend renting a car. There is one market in walking distance but was never open during its online hours- plan groceries and water accordingly. There is an OUTSTANDING restaurant within a 5 minute walk that we frequented it during the stay. Overall a good stay and we would come back again!

Wir haben zu Dritt Urlaub mit Hund in dieser wunderschönen Ferienwohnung gemacht und finden wir hätten es nicht besser treffen können. Die Wohnung hat einen herrlichen Ausblick und liegt von morgens bis abends im Sonnenschein. Ein gemütlicher Ort mit Seele. Einfach traumhaft schön. Elisabetta & Mattia waren super Hosts, mit klasse Tipps zur Umgebung. Wir haben uns super erholt und hatten über Silvester Frühlingsgefühle dank der tollen Lage & Sonne pur. Klare Empfehlung!

Lucas was very responsive and helpful, his house is very nice and has a great view on lake and mountains , the train passes by all the time, the outside area is too big and nice, everything is clean except for some spider webs in the corners but overall the house was very clean, there are also fun games for the kids which they enjoyed a lot. The only thing we didn't like was the area around the house, it is very quiet and completely dark at night which is a bit scary, but maybe that is a plus point for others.

Wir hatten einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt. Das Haus ist geräumig, hat alles was man braucht, eine extrem gut ausgestattete Küche, mehrere Balkone, von denen man ins wunderschöne Tal blicken konnte und die frische Bergluft genießen. Wir haben uns extrem wohl gefühlt und würden Casa Ursula jedem empfehlen, der einen ruhigen Rückzugsort in der Natur sucht. Danke!

Everything about this stay was more then perfect, the view was incredible and worth staying here for this alone! having both parking spots was handy, bed was incredibly comfortable, one of the best showers I’ve used, communication and recommendations are the best we’ve ever experienced from a host, they made a great trip even better, The walk into the town is fine, very scenic and chose to do it on a couple of occasions. Couldn’t recommend this place and host enough, already looking trying to stay here again.

Es waren nun unsere dritten Skiferien die wir bei Claudius verbracht haben. Es war wiedermal alles in bester Ordnung. Es hat uns wieder sehr gut gefallen! Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können die Unterkunft von Claudius mit guten Gewissen weiterempfehlen. Auch für Ferien ausserhalb der Wintersaison eignet sich das Haus von Claudius bestens. Man ist mitten in einem Wander- und Bikegebiet oder kann einfach nur die Abgeschiedenheit geniessen. SUPER SACHE!

We had a wonderful stay at Deborahs beautiful home. The view of Lake Como and the Alps is outstanding ! More gorgeous than the pictures can convey. Deborahs home is clean and neat. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. Deborah was very responsive, helpful and kind. I would love to return to Lake Como and would not hesitate to stay at Deborahs lovely home again !
