Relax, unwind, recharge. Mayfair Park was fabulous for all of this. The wildlife around the property was delightful - sitting on the front deck sky gazing or on the back deck watching blue wrens flit here and there. For our active 12yo son - heaps of sporting options which didn't require another person...some that we willingly joined. The 15yo daughter enjoyed the peace, sketching, reading and atmospheric photography. Kitchen well equipped and close enough to amenities. Hope to come back again. Thank you Lance! K.

This cottage is on a big property with other cottages and the host’s residence - you’d never know it though, it’s extremely private and we didn’t see anyone during our stay (other than the friendly alpacas coming to visit in the mornings 😁). The cottage itself is as you’d imagine it from the photos. The little reading room with big comfy chairs and a lovely view of the valley was a favourite, as was the balcony with the same view. The house is very comfortable, though the shower is tricky and one of the single beds is quite squeaky. Overall we were very happy here and would stay again.

Craig and Tim’s house was beautiful and clean, and extremely well equipped with everything we needed for a 5-day getaway during Easter. Craig and Tim were very friendly and provided clear instructions on accessing the key. We had an amazing time here!

Julie & Simon were super friendly and helpful. They literally went out of their way to scope out the parking options at the nearby "Day on the Green" concert for us. The cottage was peaceful and the bed very comfortable. We were encouraged to enjoy a walk over their beautiful property. Their recommendations enabled us to find a lovely place for lunch despite my failure to book in advance. Overall, a great weekend. Thank you, Julie & Simon

Lorelle's bnb is truly a charming step back in time. With the most hospitable welcome, Lorelle ensured that me and Remi (the poodle) were comfortable and felt at home. It's not your typical airbnb where you rock up and could be anywhere with generic decor and impersonal vibes. Rather, like described, Lorelle provides a traditional old school bed and breakfast experience filled with lots of history and character. Thanks for a lovely stay!

This farm stay was a peaceful escape, surrounded by greenery and with cozy, well-maintained accommodation.

We enjoyed our stay at Haidee’s place as we all had a good sleep after such a long day full of family activities. Thank you again for allowing us to stay at your place.

We had a lovely start at Wisteria cottage. Everything was as expected and more. We were traveling with a child and toddler and were very comfortable during the stay. The children thoroughly enjoyed their time at the farm. The biggest highlight being the tractor tour of the farm and interacting with the animals are close quarters. The cottage was perfect in all aspects and had a homely feel about it. We would highly recommend it to anyone especially if you are traveling with children.

If you want to get away from city life and relax this is the place. Enough room for two families, kids didn’t get off the trampoline and the adults soaked up the scenery. Thanks for hosting us all.

We had a wonderful stay at Vanessa's farm. We enjoyed seeing all the beautiful rescue animals on the farm, being able to say hello up close. The cottage was clean and comfortable with plenty of toys for the kids to play with (we didn't need to bring any toys from home!). Vanessa is really friendly, communicative and proactive. The kids are already asking to go back to Vanessa's farm!

Anne and Matthias have been wonderful host ! We could not expect better, they was the best we’ve never had before ! They came to pick up us at the bus stop, they called us when they planed to go in town if we needed a lift, they offered us the best hospitality ! They are very kind couple, we had a great moments together ! The house is perfect! Very clean, tidy, with a very nice decoration and organization. Also, the garden is very nice ! In one word : PERFECT! We will come back one day for sure ! And we recommend everyone who are looking for a peaceful place with beautiful people to book it ! Steve’s place felt like home away from home! It was clean, comfortable and had so much character. We took all our dogs and baby and everyone had a blast! Backyard was safe for both kids and dogs and inside was perfect for a crazy one year old! Comfy beds, and all the things you need for a relaxing getaway. Also got some awesome surf recommendations from Steve! thanks for a great stay, we’ll be back!

We had the most wonderful stay at Runnymead. It was all we hoped for and more! To get all 12 of our family together in one place at the same time is no easy feat….. so we really appreciated staying together. Being a bit out of town meant we had to be organised, however it came with the peace and solitude that we enjoy. The grandchiddlers played cricket on the grass, swam, fossicked around and had a lovely time. Our adult children ate and drank far to much but really enjoyed each others company. Twas the nicest gathering of our family I could have asked for.

Our stay was fantastic - a great getaway for Easter/Child's Birthday. A beautiful and quiet place with rolling hills and stunning views. We loved the animals - Clare took the time to show us around to see the chickens, sheep and alpacas. A fantastic stay, we will be back!

Myself and my husband had an incredible 1st year anniversary.. The home was gorgeous and in a great, quiet location. It’s exactly as it’s pictured in the photos, actually way more cuter. Melissa was an incredible host, answered all questions promptly and was a great communicator.. We would totally recommend this home to anyone else considering an Airbnb stay.

The Nook was a beautiful cottage to stay in for a couple of nights. The house was spacious, very clean and full of character. And the backyard and rural surroundings were beautiful and provided plenty of space for the kids to run around.

Amazing amazing amazing!!! Kids had an absolute ball, spending endless hours outside in nature surrounded by animals. Beautiful setting, cute cottages with everything you need, lovely hosts who really cater for the kids, couldn’t have asked for more!

We visited freshwater creek in Nov. My little tribe of 2 adults and 2 children from the urban city. We anticipated vast spaces, farm animals and fresh air but what the farm gave us was an experience we would not soon forget. We stayed at the Rose cottage. It was very clean. Immaculately clean. There was no signs of age and I think a lot of work went into maintaining the cottage in its good state. We loved walking the goats, feeding the sheep, cows, pigs and horses in their various paddocks, walking in the orchard sampling fruits, walking alongside the ducks and picking fresh eggs. We played in the playground and there was also a sandpit. Our first farm experience was most surreal and therapeutic. Needless to say we are planning to be back again. Thank you Marissa, Farmer Phil and your team for your work on the farm.

We enjoyed our weekend at Grasslands Estate for our daughters first birthday. Plenty of space and the house had everything we needed.

We loved the outlook with spectacular view from the expansive deck, lots of colourful native birds that you could hand feed (we even saw an owl on the deck at night) and walking distance to Anglesea beach (short drive to Roadknight point), the surf club and the local shops. BBQ is excellent.

Had a wonderful time at King Parrot cottage. The cottage was really lovely and well cared for in such a remote location. Amazing for a weekend getaway. Nicole was very helpful and prompt in assisting with any queries. If you want to have a quite time away from the city, this is the place. Highly recommend!

The Woodcutters Cottage was absolutely heaven on earth. It was extremely clean and well decorated with a super comfy bed and all the amenities you need. The cottage was free standing and away from the rest of the farm so it’s nice and private! We really enjoyed the farm tour on Saturday morning, and it was so cool to feed all the animals. Thank you Marissa and family, we will definitely be back!
