Welcome to enjoy the traditional and atmospheric log cabin in the middle of the beautiful nature of Kuusamo. Hike, fish, pick berries and in winter, weather permitting, you can ski from the lake to Ruka. A magnificent starry sky crowns the evening sky and the sun shining through the night on summer nights. The cabin has basic amenities, but still requires basic cabin skills (e.g. heating the fireplace and beach sauna). Bedding/towels and final cleaning are not included in the rent. The other side of the cottage is available for rent as additional space. Ask for more!

Apart from downhill skiing and cross country skiing (the FIS Nordic Combined season kicks off in Ruka) there are numerous hiking trails, including the famous Karhunkierros (Bear's Round), crosscountry ski &snowmobile routes, biking routes, fishing, bird watching, bear watching and also ample time to enjoy a sauna and peaceful silence.

Renovated semi-detached house (2br, 67sqm) in a quiet location, 5 km from Ruka. 500 m to the cross-country skiing track, 100 m to the snowmobile trail, and 4 km to the grocery store. The apartment is great for families or a group of friends. The floor plan is such that the smaller bedroom and the separate toilet are separated from the rest of the apartment by a door, so privacy is available. A nice atmosphere is created by an open fireplace, sauna, a terrace, and a forest landscape as a bonus.

Ketorinne is a beautiful and peaceful place at the countryside. The house is in the village of Virkkula near by Ruka. Ketorinne is lovely place for familes with children. We have well and diversely equipped kitchen. The house has everything you need for your holiday. The garden is big. Outside there are spacious views to the Porontima Lake, mountains and to the green nature. We have free WIFI. In summer time you can book a hot tub for a different price. Price is 130€ /2 days or 180€/week.

Quiet location on the shore of the beautiful Ylä-Juumajärvi, about 2 km from Juuma village, 3 km from Pieni Karhunkierros, near Oulanka National Park. Nearby are wonderful nature sites: Karhunkierrokset, Riisitunturi, Ruka, Kiutaköngäs, etc. You can make day trips to nearby destinations. The beach sauna is at your disposal and we will advise you on how to heat it. WiFi available. The price includes linens and towels for three.
