Tea by the Sea

When I read other guests reviews, I could tell that Janet sincerely cared for all of her guests. If you are searching for a home away from home, stop searching because Janet is the GEM in the Sunshine Coast treasure box.

Peaceful, immaculate and fully-equipped!

VeroniqueRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Absolutely loved our stay! The cottage was incredibly well equipped—from the kitchen to the bathrooms, everything we could possibly need was thoughtfully provided. Cooking was a breeze thanks to the fully stocked kitchen, and the bathrooms had all the essentials (and then some!). The beds and linens were very comfortable, and all of the furniture was cozy and inviting—perfect for relaxing after a day outdoors. Most importantly, we felt completely safe and at ease staying here as a family, which made the experience all the more enjoyable. Judy was a fantastic host—super responsive and helpful anytime we had a question. Her communication really made us feel welcomed and well taken care of. We would absolutely rent this place again and would highly recommend it to anyone. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Coast Crest House on Bowen Island

RhianRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Sara’s house is absolutely wonderful! We could not have picked a better house: the location and views are idyllic. Very quiet. The house has everything you would need and it’s all to such a high quality. The weather wasn’t the best but this didn’t stop us having the best time and it made us stay and make the most of the house and we had a relaxing time. Highly recommend this accommodation to annoying and wished we didn’t live so far away as I want to stay there again and again!

Renée's Oasis, Massage and SPA

DebbieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Renée was very accommodating and thoughtful in preparing for her guests. Her home is very homey and has a real cottage feel. The fireplace and instruments made us feel right at home. All rooms open onto the deck, and you can also see bits of the bay through the trees. The jets on the swim spa are adjustable, and the higher setting has a fabulous strong pressure. The lid is easy to raise and lower. There is a sauna in the yard as well as patio furniture under a gazebo. You can sit out here or on the deck in the rain. The house and yard are private if you rent the entire home. If you only rent 1 room, expect to share the bathroom & common areas. She has some options worth considering - a specially prepared meal, as well as e-bike / regular bike rental. There is a massage studio on the property as well. Renée has a broad variety of services on offer which is very convenient for her guests. This is truly a lovely spa get-away. We would have liked to have stayed longer.

Penny's house in the west Vancouver area was a great place for our family vacation. It is easily walkable to many parks and the sea. The house has everything you would need to cook and a large kitchen. There are instructions on how to use many of the houses amenities. Overall it was a great place.

Oceanfront, New Reno, 2 Kings, Sunsets, AC

AaronRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We enjoyed everything about our stay. So much thought was put into to making a cozy, comfortable stay. So much swimming, ocean, hot tubs and pools. Jennifer is a great host. As a side note: we are from Vancouver and do our best to not drive. This vacation rental is fully accessible by public transit from Vancouver, a break from the city without needing a vehicle, whatever your reasons might be. Highly recommend. Thanks Jennifer!

Parksville Rathtrevor Beach & Pool ONE bedroom

AnnaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This was a perfect place to stay while we were visiting Vancouver Island. The location made it easy to explore other areas of the Island as a day trip. The condo itself is situated right across from the pool and hot tub as well as the beach trail which we were able to enjoy while we were staying. Overall, the condo is equipped with everything you need to have a pleasant stay and the host was easy to contact and responded quickly. I would recommend this airbnb!

Haven By The Sea - 2BDRM Ocean Front - New Reno AC

JimRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This beachfront property in Nanoose Bay offers an exceptional location with direct walkout access to the ocean—ideal for families and nature lovers alike. The accommodations are impeccably clean, thoughtfully appointed, and create an inviting, home-like atmosphere. Guests will find both comfort and quality throughout the space. The on-site amenities are a standout feature, particularly the family-friendly restaurant and well-maintained indoor and outdoor pools. A highlight for those traveling with young children is the Pirate Boat playground adjacent to the outdoor pool—a delightful spot where our grandkids spent hours capturing imaginary pirates and making cherished memories. This is a top-tier Airbnb experience in the Parksville/Nanoose Bay area, and we highly recommend it for families seeking a relaxing, activity-filled getaway on Vancouver Island’s scenic coast.

Cozy 2 Bed Condo with Ocean Views and Pool

JackieRating, 5 stars9 months ago
The apartment had everything we needed and we felt right at home. The kitchen was well equipped, everything was well labelled and Andrea even had “kid” dishes so it suited us perfectly. There is a dishwasher which was great:. The place was tidy and clean. We had meals outside and enjoyed the view from the patio. The kids enjoyed the small outdoor pool which was heated. There is access to a marina from the property but no beach. Andrea was very communicative and responsive. She answered questions about the unit when needed and was helpful to provide local recommendations for beaches and things to do. We arrived late at night in the pitch dark but Andrea’s instructions to find the unit were helpful and much needed as there were no signs indicating any unit numbers that we could see. Overall it was a great stay and I would recommend Andrea’s apartment to anyone exploring Halfmoon Bay!

Ocean Tide (Unit A+B) - Sleep 6 - Waterfront -Pool

GlendaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
It was a sweet retreat! Unique because of it being two units with an adjoining door. Nice water view and separate balconies. We appreciated the amenities (pool, kiddie pool, hot tubs, restaurant, and walkable grounds). Ideally situated between Parksville/Qualicum/Coombs and Nanaimo. Host was very responsive. Hope to go again.

Casa Sunrise -Sleeps 8 - Pool - Hot Tub - Gym

MahaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Seriously the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. Incredibly clean, perfectly located (easy access from the parking lot AND perfect access to the pool/hot tub). They really thought of everything and fully stocked the unit. I was scattered while packing and forgot to pack a playpen for my toddler - they HAD a playpen! And it was clean! They also had a high chair - seriously everything you need is here. Can’t wait to go back.

High Tide Suite: New Ocean Front w/ Spa-like Bath

VesselinaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Beautiful apartment with a really nice unobstructed sea view. Everything just like in the photos, clean and lots of natural light. I really enjoyed the beautiful bathroom…very nicely done. The bed is huge and very comfy as well. The view from the rooms and balconies is exceptional and really lovely. The whole property is really nice and well maintained. Especially enjoyed the bbq areas and fireplaces in the common areas. Communication was very good and check in instructions easy and clear. Overall we had a lovely stay and I would recommend to anyone looking to enjoy the sea and nature of Vancouver Island. You would definitely need a car there, as there is not so much to do in a walking distance. Closes town is approx. 5 - 10 min. Drive. Ferry in Nanaimo about 20-30 minutes. Very convenient!
