Chalet vacation rentals in Sunday River

We have worked with Katie in the past and were super impressed with how helpful she was. We loved this house! The game room was perfect for our large group. The young children enjoyed hanging out in the cute playroom upstairs. It was so helpful to have a crib and high chair available. The large front lawn was perfect for our field day games. We hope to be back next year if the family can get schedules all set 😁

Cozy, clean place. Great location for ski in/out. Attitash Abenaki lift is just right next to back yard. Owner communication is excellent. We had wonderful time with kids during our ski trip! Thanks Donald.

Possibly the nicest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. This house was in spotless condition and looks even better than it does in the pictures. There’s a beautiful view from the back deck. It is the perfect place for a ski getaway and has so much character inside. From the hot tub to the pool table to the pinball machine, we were constantly having fun. Also didn’t have a single issue for the entire stay. 10/10.

I had a wonderful stay at Julia’s place! From the moment I arrived, everything was exactly as described — clean, cozy, and thoughtfully prepared. Julia was a fantastic host: responsive, kind, and attentive to every detail, which made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. The host was so kind and responsive! The location is perfect- so close to North Conway but not right in the middle where there's more traffic. Not far from Storyland. Beautiful scenery, quiet neighbors. The house was very clean and cozy. Perfect for my husband and I. Host was very accommodating to bringing my two large dogs.

We love Jeremiah and Lisseth’s place! It was a great stay. We really appreciated how clean the house was and how well they communicated with us. It was a comfortable environment and we felt right at home. The fire place and hot tub were big perks for our group. They made sure we had everything we needed and showed they care. We will definitely book a stay with them in the future!

We spent a month at the house and felt right at home. The kitchen was well stocked, linens and towels were provided and the beds were comfortable. The Moose Cabin is a *very* wonderful place to stay: * very spacious and perfect for multiple families / friends to hang out together * perfect for toddlers / kids - even has tons of kid stuff like crib, toddler bed, toys, highchair * clean and clutter free * comfortable beds and couches * fully stocked kitchen for cooking...all the standard stuff you may need as well as extra things like instantpot * quiet, scenic neighborhood in perfect location for so many NH daytrips while also having easy access to North Conway grocery stores / restaurants * nice outdoor deck for sitting outside We stayed for a week with extended family. Beyond the weather being unseasonably cold / rainy and hampering some of our hiking plans we couldn't have asked for a better trip.

This house was 5-star location, 5-star views, and plenty of room for our group of 9. The hot tub was lovely way to relax after skiing. Easy drive to mountain and amenities. Our only issue is that we all would have loved more comfortable places to sit in the living room with the lovely view. The seating was very limited, no couches and only two comfortable chairs (plus two uncomfortable ones). If you like us look at the photos and imagine yourself spending a lot of time there, just a warning that the seating doesn’t really allow for that with your group and that the fireplaces cannot be used.

My husband and I met up with my daughter and son-in-law for a stay at Dawn's. We enjoyed the fireplace very much, and my son-in-law fixed a fabulous meal with a beautifully equipped kitchen. We all loved the Jacuzzi and had a blast chilling in the mountains. Would come back again in a heartbeat- and stay longer!

Nova’s place is so spacious and peaceful. Everything looked great and was cozy and accommodating. Fall on the lake is amazing!

Cheryl’s home was absolutely a “piece of heaven”! Her home is beautiful and in the loveliest spot right on the water! Everything was spotless when we arrived, with a welcome note from our hosts with their contact information. The house was exactly as described - comfy beds, well stocked kitchen, great family room with tv. The outside was perfect - fire pit with lots of chairs, gas grill, dock for easy access to the water! They had several kayaks available! The pond was clear and calm. Cheryl and Mike we gracious hosts, very responsive but gave us plenty of privacy. Se would highly recommend their home!

We had a fantastic stay as a group of four adults and two kids. Jason was an excellent host—he responded within minutes and was incredibly helpful with anything we needed. The kitchen was very well stocked, with appliances that seemed brand new. There were plenty of toys and games to keep the kids entertained. We loved the brand new Weber gas grill, which we used every day. The fireplace was well supplied with wood, adding a cozy touch. The lake is absolutely beautiful and surrounded by nature—we even spotted a deer!

Fast and easy drive up from Portland, but then suddenly you are tucked in the woods and away from the bustle. Newly built and yet comfy, well laid out, and well equipped like it’s already established. The view is great, lots of decks and peaceful setting, was great to settle in and watch a loon floating on the lake. Easy walk around the edge of the lake to the great Italian restaurant for a fantastic meal. Quick drive to Farmington for more options. Kitchen was equipped enough to boil lobsters, set up a real meal, and entertain. Then we drifted out to the yard and fire pit and enjoyed a fantastic evening around the fire in chairs with moonlight shining off the lake. Ok, that was the last night, it was POURING for the first part of our stay, with the house proving to be warm and cozy, well equipped with games, and the hot tub perfect. Will absolutely look to stay here again when we return in the fall.
