Down East Maine Beach Front Escape Near Bar Harbor

Welcome to our family camp where the sun sets over Flanders Pond and eventually disappears behind Shoodic Mountain. Our pond has a sandy bottom and it spans over 550 acres so we like to call it a lake! This house features its own private beachfront with two kayaks included! Swim the crystal clear waters! We are about 45 mins to Bar Harbor and Acadia State Park. Winter Harbor/Shoodic Pennisula is about 15 mins away. Down East Sunrise Trail is right across the pond for hiking and snowmobiling.

Meadow Point cottage is located on a very quiet five acre property with panoramic views of Frenchman's Bay and Mount Desert Island. It takes about thirty minutes to drive over to MDI and Acadia National Park. The property has a private beach for kayaking and woods with a picnic area and fire pit. It is a wonderful spot for walking and viewing wildlife; ducks, eagles, shore birds, seals and deer.
