Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Sullivan County

The Lumber Room was magnificent! It surpassed our expectations. My husband and I came to Williamsport to see a show at a nearby venue and The Grand Hotel was itself a wonderful attraction. We love the history and charm of the building and the room itself was luxurious. The staff was so kind about everything and even let us look at another room to see the different theme as each room has a special theme. We will definitely be back and plan to stay more than one day!

Stephanie was such a great host, our stay so exceeded our expectations. She has thought of so many things guests might need, from toiletries, to s’mores and wet shoes! The apartment is clean and bright and well appointed with a beautiful kitchen a stunning outdoor area, and everything you need. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake, a late night fire pit cooked dinner, and relaxing in the wonderful hot tub. Stephanie sent us messages every morning of things to do in the area that matched the weather and was very accommodating with check out time to allow us to finally enjoy some sunshine. Despite the disappointing weather, we had the best time, and have already booked another stay! Thank you, Stephanie!

Such a wonderful stay! We gifted this to my parents so they could have a getaway, and they couldn’t stop raving about it. The beautiful historic building, the clean renovated room, the high ceilings, beautiful shower, and on-site restaurant made their stay so relaxing and hassle-free. They already talked about staying there again! Highly recommend.

Brad’s unit is an innovative and exquisite remodel of the upper floor of his nutritional supply store! It’s conveniently equipped with beautiful furniture, decorations and amenities and was an extremely comfortable stay. This will be my go-to place for any future visits to the Wilkes-Barre area. Impeccably clean, generously provisioned and flawlessly furnished, I couldn’t have asked for a nicer stay. There’s also a convenient gym on site!

Michael & Sarah’s place is fantastic! Right on the lake with every amenity you could want (French press, dishwasher, home theatre, BBQ, and fire pit to name a few) The place was comfortable and clean, in an extremely tranquil location, perfect for coffee or wine looking out over the lake from the porch or dock. This home had all of the little touches that make for an extremely comfortable stay (like wood and fire starters at the fire pit). Michael and Sarah are very warm, friendly and welcoming - we would recommend this place to anyone we know visiting the area!

Jocelyn’s home was a beautiful, clean and spacious place for our family to stay! It’s an old home that had some electrical issues during our time there but Jocelyn and her team were quick to respond and make our stay as comfortable as possible!

This property is ideally located with restaurants/amenities within walking distance. Location was very quiet and peaceful. Sean is a courteous and respectful host who took time and care to ensure I had everything I needed. The spacious and pristine bathroom is a stand-out feature of this property. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat whilst exploring the surrounding countryside.

Great lake house for gatherings of friends and family. The additional rental of the boat was great since there were several older family members. Relaxing and peaceful location in the Poconos.

Great place! We were visiting friends local to the area so it was a great place near friends in Troy. The extra toys and books for the kids were an added bonus. Easy check in and were responsive with any questions.

What a wonderful place to stay! This beautiful house was warm and welcoming and accommodated my family of all ages! It is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. Would definitely love to stay here again for our upcoming special occasions!

If you’re looking for a spacious remote rental this is it! We really enjoyed our stay and Andy stopped by a few times to communicate things with us. The only things to beware of, there are a lot of ladybugs and dated areas but with the future plans they have for this home it will be amazing! There is no service but the home has wifi and the water is quite hard water again another thing to just be aware of but not a deterrent. We would definitely rent again.

If you're looking for somewhere to relax, unplug and make memories with family, this is the place. We had kids aged 10-16 that enjoyed fishing, paddleboat, SUP, campfires, and playing downstairs in the game room. We had rain to sun, so all the options for entertainment was ideal! We adults loved the sunporch, the property trail, then gathering for meals and boardgames. We all enjoyed playing in the large field or horseshoes. The basement has two bedrooms with foam mattresses, but was chilly. The upstairs rooms have soft mattresses. The two bathrooms are on the first floor. We generally had everything we needed. There is not much to do in the surrounding area, so it was nice the property was so well-equipped! Heading into Meshoppen was the best area for groceries.
