We loved our time at Peder’s and Bjorg’s cabin. It’s apparent that this cabin was build with a lot of love, every corner beautifully put together (we particularly enjoyed the oars used as stair banisters :) ) it feels incredibly cosy and the views are breathtaking! We really wanted to go fishing during our trip and Peder has kindly agreed to rent out his boat and take us out for a few hours around the cabin. He shared his tips and advice with us and we had a fantastic time, managing to catch 3 fish 🐟 Peder and Bjorg also offered to prepare a selection of traditional Norwegian bites after the fishing trip. Bjorg prepared a whole platter of “tapas” for us, with prawn cocktail, scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, local salads, meats and a delicious cake to finish with. It was incredible and very lovingly put together. It was an amazing stay! Thank you Peder and Bjorg for your warm welcome, we hope to come back soon!

This isn’t your typical hotel or tourist apartment, rather an actively “lived-in” home with immediate family history and vibes. It felt cozy, clean and right at-home, compelling to take care of it like our own. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, overseeing the last of Alesund islands, glimpsing into the Atlantic. We’ve enjoyed every moment of our stay, thanks for having us!

We had a lovely stay (albeit short), the proposed caravan had everything we needed for one night. The location is quite well served by public transport and the view was magnificent. The environment was very quiet and the hosts very nice, responsive and attentive if there were any issues. Linda has always been responsive and accommodating, we'll be back with pleasure!

The two-story cabin features a wooden exterior and large glass windows, allowing natural light to flood the interior. A spacious balcony is visible, furnished with outdoor seating. The entrance is framed by a natural landscape, creating an inviting atmosphere for guests.

What a fabulous stay. We were here with a group of 6, two couples and two singles, for 4 days and it was just a perfect location . Immaculate space, the hot tub was perfect after a long day hiking, and beautifully appointed. They had literally everything we could have thought of.. every piece of glassware possible, vases, all the cookware, fabulous coffee maker. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

We loved our stay at Yvonne's home. It was a beautiful house with an amazing view. Yvonne and her husband, Sverre, were great hosts and extremely responsive. The location was great with easy access to groceries, restaurants, hiking, and fjords. We had a wonderful time.

Great stay in pleasant apartment We had very good time in this apartment The location was convenient and the check-in process was easy and smooth. Communication with the host was quick and clear, which we really appreciated. The apartment met expectations and was both cozy and functional. Everything we needed was available and we felt well taken care of during the whole stay. All in all, a positive experience and we are happy to recommend this place further!

Cozy and stylish loft. We stayed with Laurits for 4 days and the days were used to go mountain hikes nearby, fishing and driving a trip to Ålesund. We were away a lot and the apartment was a good fit for us - 2 adults, 1 child and 1 small chihuahua. We got to cook and slept well here and that's what we were looking for :) quiet neighborhood.

Mari's place is 15-20 minutes away by car from Alesund, it is extremely spacious and very beautiful. The kitchen and bathrooms (3 toilets and 2 bathrooms) have all the necessary amenities. It has a very large terrace and garden. Mari is very thoughtful and responsive, we communicated wonderfully with her. In conclusion, you feel at home. We would love to come back anytime. 🙂

We really enjoyed staying here and are very grateful for the kind hospitality - from responsiveness, clear instructions by messages and within the house, the kid-friendly feel of the house (bunkbeds, Lego area, trampoline, nearby playground), clean and organized rooms (kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms). We were grateful for having two bathrooms. We really appreciated the little folder with all instructions and local recommendations. We would gladly come again if we are in the area, and highly recommend the home to anyone who wants a little peace and quiet in an idyllic yet modern setting.

Highly recommended stay, the apartment is spacious and very comfortable. We only stayed one night but it's ideal to spend a few days in Ålesund as the accommodation was very central and overlooking the fjord!

True to the photos, my son and I had a wonderful stay. The view from the terrace overlooks the fjords SYLVIE HELEN's husband is always welcoming, available and even printed out activities for us to do. The gentleman offered to take us back to the central station for our departure, letting us choose our schedule. I recommend this location and its owners 10/10. Thank you very much, sir.

What a cool space, Kjetil has. Very artsy and the location is perfect for exploring the city on foot. Kjetil’s communication was great along with all of the tips he provided locally as well as beyond the city. The deck overlooking the city and harbor were an added bonus at the end of the day for a sunset and a beer. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay here again if we make it back in the future.

Berits place was just as described in the listing. She was very responsive and helpful with our stay. It’s a nice and quiet place that is close to a big shopping center and restaurants. Would recommend!

Pawel place is conveniently located at 10 mins of the Sentrum by car. It has everything you need to have a cozy and peaceful stay in Ålesund. We felt very welcomed. Will definitely return back.
