Jimmy and his family are amazing hosts, super friendly, and responsive! The hotel is centrally located on Main St. and it was so nice to be able to walk everywhere. The room we stayed in was cozy and enough to accommodate a 2 night stay as we explored the town. Their cafe on the main level has tasty food as well. Book your stay at Cold Spring Hotel!

Just got back from a wonderful one night stay with Jimmy. We were greeted warmly, with humor and great local recommendations. The hotel is a convenient 10-15 minute walk from the Cold Spring Metro North stop. The room was exactly as pictured: quaint, clean, and cozy. We were offered discounts on breakfast and additional nights stays, which was a great touch. Jimmy was kind enough to hold our luggage and let us use his cafe's restroom after we checked out and explored Cold Spring for the day. If I come back to explore the multitude of hiking trails in the area, I wouldn't hesitate to stay with Jimmy again. It was a really amazing time in an unique place. Al is a great person that gives a lot information both on local history and guiding on visiting the area. He's s very helpful with anything that is needed during stay. We'll be back!

Perfect spot for 4 friends on a weekend trip to NYC

Cold Spring Hotel and Jimmy the host are the best. Walkable from the train, pet friendly, plus the front desk is a cafe! This is a no-brainer when visiting Cold Spring. We’ll definitely book again.

Amazing amazing amazing! I loved everything about the hotel. The rooms were big, spacious, clean, comfortable, the balcony was a plus and the restaurant near the main lobby had a great bartender; that made our drinks extra good! Also, parking was fairly easy to find and the hotel location was perfectly located close to Manhattan! I would recommend just double checking and confirming the room type you are booking, since there are many different options and room styles! I would stay here over & over again 🌸!

Our room was exactly what we had expected and had looked for. Perfect for our stay in New York City. Great staff and very friendly. Felt at home. Didn’t experience any issues what so ever. It was literally lovely that even after our checkout time, she still considered us as guests and allowed us to use to restroom, common area, and store our luggage until our flight later in the evening.

While the resort was outstanding when it comes to the spa treatments everything was very confusing from the treatments itself, to the staff to them not being organized at all. I’m not sure the treatment was performed by a professional certified masseuse. In fact it was a male for both my wife and I. We were never asked to sign a waiver or fill out any kind of paperwork unlike all other spas we’ve been to. I have been with terrible sciatica pain since Sunday July 7, almost a week now. I believe the male therapist worked my back in a way that he shouldn’t have and pinched a nerve. I am unable to walk, get in and out of car and have been seeing a chiropractor since Monday July 8.

I highly recommend this place. Great stay.

I had a great experience because the place was very clean and staff was outstanding.

On my way to the airbnb I was listening to a podcast on hospitality. These hosts are masters of the art. I didn’t get to meet Doris, but I could see her creative touch in the beauty and comfort of the house and my room. Her husband was the kindest soul. This is why I go to airbnb’s to hopefully get to overlap with other great humans. He was warm and hilarious. He effortlessly treats people like family and I will definitely be back so I can get the pleasure of meeting Doris. Lovely remote setting, yet so close to incredible coffee and great hikes. The airbnb was clean, and inviting, and the hospitality was next level.

Exactly what we needed for our road trip! Only issue was that the A/C unit was kind of loud but expected in similar hotel rooms. 2 TVs!!

Exceeded our expectations! Amazing place to stay! It gave us that away from home getaway feeling. Gerry was very helpful and responsive. Will definitely be back!

Chef Step was a great host! He was incredibly accommodating and super kind. I ended up getting food poisoning and he made me tea and got me some medicine which was very much appreciated. The first morning that we were there, he even cooked for us - chicken and waffles 10/10. I would 1000% stay with Chef Step next time I am in NYC.

Easy to check in and check out. Parking was a little tough to find but nonetheless, a worthy stay. Very pretty art.
