The accommodation is very well located, in a quiet area close to the historic city center. It also has a lovely view of the Loire and the castle! We especially enjoyed the tranquility of the place.

Pleasant stay at Benoît's Gervaisien apartment. The apartment is impeccable, identical to the photos and very quiet. With a little special touch when we arrived. Great communication. Benoît is very responsive to messages and flexible on the arrival schedule. The key box for self check-in and check-out is really a plus. Ideally located for castle tours and nearby walks. I would recommend it in a second. 😊

Loved the place, large beautiful green outdoor space. It was quiet and spacious space. Outdoor furniture. Secure premises. Philippe and his wife were very friendly and accommodating. The bakery a few doors down beside the meat market is to die for! The train station is a 7 minute walk away. Pleasant walk across the river to old Ambois town centre.

Highly recommended. Sophie is incredibly responsive and helpful. Her place is fantastic and is one of, if not the best equipped Airbnb’s I have ever stayed in (and I’ve stayed in a lot all over the US and Europe). Super comfortable all around and a spectacular central location. Ample free parking under a minute walk from her door. Multiple great restaurants within a five minute walk.

What a wonderful apartment in a historic home, right in the center of town. It was an easy stroll to many restaurants, and we had lots of good suggestions for eateries from Delphine. It was a short drive to many castles, and a short walk to the castle in town. The apartment was clean and she had everything necessary for a wonderful visit.

The place was perfect for what we need and a great base for exploring the Loire Valley. Great views/outlook and place is well secured. Lots of restaurants, within walking distance of the city centre. Parking is a bit tight but worked OK with our SUV.

Peaceful place, neat accommodation with a beautiful brightness in the living room. Elisa was welcoming and friendly, simple and frank. This accommodation a little set back from the city of Blois allows you to discover a beautiful soothing countryside, accompanying you to rest after these days of rhythmic visits. We spent five wonderful days at Maison 56. We wanted to get together as a family to celebrate the new year and visit the area and some castles. Everything went very well. The house is very well furnished, extremely well-equipped and tastefully decorated. The house emanates positive and soothing energy. We felt right at home. Special mention for the insert that allowed us to have great evenings by the fire. Delphine welcomed us in a very warm and friendly way. She recommended several places to visit and a few places (shops, restaurants, etc.). We followed several of her tips, it made our stay easier. Thanks again Delphine and see you soon! 😊

It was wonderful to stay in a home connected to the history of the Loire area and its architecture. We loved the elegant, tall windows, the high ceilings, the wide hallways, the fire places, the lovely lounge and dining rooms, the views of the climbing roses from the bedrooms along the back side of the house, the spacious, main bedroom and the large garden with it comfortable furniture. We ate outside and enjoyed the garden. The kitchen is pretty but a little narrow for a couple of people to work in there at the same time. It is well equiped, with everything you need to prepare meals. The main bathroom is spacious. The second bathroom is bath only with shower attachment in the bath. It was fine for us. The house is decorated with soft, pastel wall paper and is quite sparse in its decoration which I loved because I could enjoy the structures of the home without them being hidden by too much decoration. We loved our stay and would stay again. Carol also kindly looked after us.

Pleasant night during a visit to the area, the accommodation is very quiet since it is set back in the forest. Very spacious and well-furnished, the bedding is very good quality.

We stayed in Eva's house for the third time and would always return there.

You can't find a better service that matches the description on the site perfectly. The humility of our hosts in relation to their "novitiate" in AirB&B and their desire to receive any criticism or suggestion for improvement are very commendable. But as stated in many reviews published before mine, Jean-Noël and Cathy are already the best. Also, any improvements will be minor details compared to the overall situation. Thanks again to them for the pleasant stay we had at their home.
