The apartment is very well equipped. In the kitchen, all necessary utensils were available. We had a nice time and felt very comfortable. There is enough space for 8 adults. The location is very nice and the weather also played along. We missed a hair dryer. However, it was not listed as amenities. All in all, a nice stay. 👍🏼 😊

Benjamin is a great host, we received a great introduction into the history of the place. The appartment is very nice, clean and well maintained. It has everything you need. Also Benjamin was very helpful and attentive, he gave good recommendations for a boat rental. Fantastic base to explore the Frisian lakes by boat.

The apartment was modernly furnished, clean and well equipped – from the kitchen to the bathroom, everything was right. Particularly noteworthy is the location: an absolute dream for anglers! We visited the city of Sneek, which is about 15 minutes away and the city of Joure, which is about 25 minutes away. In bad weather, unfortunately, there are hardly any alternatives to doing anything else. This is not meant as a criticism of the owner of this apartment, it is just a small note for younger couples. Communication with the host was friendly and straightforward. Overall a completely successful stay – I will be happy to come back!

We had a very nice Easter weekend at Petra and Rein's farm. The farm is beautifully located on the water between the meadows. There is no traffic, you only hear the sound of the birds and the wind. We immediately felt comfortable, thanks in part to the warm welcome from Petra, who showed herself to be a very pleasant hostess throughout our stay. The area invites you to walk, cycle or a nice trip in one of the canoes that Rein and Petra provide. All in all, this is highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet and nice place among the Frisian meadows.

We stayed in this lovely cottage for a week in early April. It is located on a marina, surrounded by water and meadows, we enjoyed the wide view and sat a lot in the wind-protected seating area. Overall, the weather was much better than expected, and when it got cold, the oven made the living room very cozy for us. The house is large, beautiful and functionally furnished, with eight people we had enough space. We will be happy to come back!

We were very positively surprised by the accommodation and felt very comfortable. The garden was very nice and perfect for our little dog and the kids. Froukje is a very nice hostess who welcomed us warmly and gave us some tips for the area. Check-in was also uncomplicated and there were even snacks ready. The apartment was very clean and there was everything you needed in it. The distance to the dog beach is super close and the right beach is adjacent. The city is a little further on foot, but also easily accessible and really nice . We would recommend this place and would book it again.

My cousin and I loved staying at Gea’s place. It was so convenient to town, yet was off on a little dead end street that felt so cozy and neighborly. And quiet. The kitchen necessities were provided - and a AH grocery store is a 5 minute walk for getting what you need. We would come back in a heartbeat!!! Just awareness- although there is a one lane road in the front for loading/unloading, there may be a vehicle blocking the way - necessitating that one wheel/carry your luggage for about 1 1/2 blocks on cobblestones on arrival and departure. It didn’t matter for our stay, but for some it might.

What a nice house to stay!! Very tastefully decorated, full of comforts and clean! Close to parking. A nice garden to enjoy the sun. Pleasant contact with the host. Everything was to your liking!

Unfortunately, my own stay was only of a very short duration, because I became increasingly sick during the first evening. Karin helped us (I stayed here for a weekend with my best friend) with the contact details of the doctor's guard and there, in addition to antibiotics, I got the advice to go out at home sick... So whether my husband still pick me up around midnight. Extremely unfortunate because the cottage had/has everything we had been looking forward to. From a nice dining table to chat at, playing games, being creative, to a really beautifully finished bathroom, well-equipped kitchen and a lovely bed (I spent a few hours sick there that afternoon so I'll take that experience as a "bonus". My girlfriend was able to explore the beautiful surroundings further after my departure, she stayed there to enjoy the tranquility and did this to the fullest! In the future, we hope for a resit because this location is definitely worth it!

Had a very nice stay! Upon arrival, some "start-up problems", these were immediately seriously picked up by Gaby and well resolved. We felt right at home in this airbnb. Cozy furnishings and equipped with every comfort. If you are looking for a quiet location: look no further :) Beautifully located on the water. It is remote, but a car is necessary for a message.

We stayed at the property over New Year's Eve and felt very much at home. The location right on the water is a highlight. It is a very quiet area, so highly recommended for a relaxing break.

Wonderful place to stay in a cozy city district. We felt very comfortable. Mega cool idea. The accommodation was a petrol station many years ago... now in a super nice studio furnished with a lot of love for detail. Shopping, sightseeing city, restaurant - all by foot! Thanks so much

APARTMENT: Fantastically beautiful view directly on Lake Jissel. Waking up in bed has never been more beautiful. Very quiet location, super nice hosts. Despite the advertised "dog apartment" very clean. AREA: A supermarket can be reached in 5-7 minutes on foot daily. A café is almost right outside the front door.

The apartment is super cozy and very nicely furnished. There is everything you need. The location is ideal. You can walk to downtown in 5 minutes. Still quiet. Communication with Majsa was great. As a welcome there was a bottle of wine and something to nibble on. It was beautiful all around. We definitely want to come back! Thanks very much.

TinyHouse Alkmaar is a small, very very small house.. but I felt like home. Thing is - the owners are one of a kind - and that is after staying in the previous airbnb which the host make me feel as if I am doing something wrong just for wishing to cook in the kitchen… If the only thing i mainly have to say about the “negative”, I guess - that’s the best compliment you can give, given the housing prices. If the price works for you, if the size doesn’t make you unable to move physically, you might find TinyHouse to be the best! The house is tiny, but very well planned and consolidated. Some things are inevitable- like water splashing to the floor.. while washing dishes or cooking.. I can go on and on - bottom line though - it felt like home. Arjon and Femka are the best house owners to have.. the best. To conclude, the house is small, the owners - the biggest heart (test me on that by all means). I could stay there for a year, if I could. Thank you Femka, and thank you - Arjon!

Everything is great. Marcel and his wife help with everything, are very friendly and relaxed. We rented Marcel's electric boat and took a tour of the canals and lake. It was wonderful. Marcel briefed us well. Thanks!
