Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Súdwest-Fryslân

We stayed in this lovely cottage for a week in early April. It is located on a marina, surrounded by water and meadows, we enjoyed the wide view and sat a lot in the wind-protected seating area. Overall, the weather was much better than expected, and when it got cold, the oven made the living room very cozy for us. The house is large, beautiful and functionally furnished, with eight people we had enough space. We will be happy to come back!

Lovely, spacious house in one of the most beautiful places in Friesland, located directly on open water with beautiful views over a lake (It Piel, borders Heegermeer and the Fluessen) and the countryside. Recommended for those who love peace, space and the Frisian lakes.

Had a very nice stay! Upon arrival, some "start-up problems", these were immediately seriously picked up by Gaby and well resolved. We felt right at home in this airbnb. Cozy furnishings and equipped with every comfort. If you are looking for a quiet location: look no further :) Beautifully located on the water. It is remote, but a car is necessary for a message.

Super nice house! Very spacious and beautiful, private furnishings. You'll see a nice detail everywhere. The village is nice and small, nice to walk through. Lots of old towns nearby.

We stayed at the property over New Year's Eve and felt very much at home. The location right on the water is a highlight. It is a very quiet area, so highly recommended for a relaxing break.

It was a really great experience, it might be the most beautiful airbnb house I have ever stayed in. The garden and decoration everything was very peaceful. The host Ellen was very helpful, everything you were looking for was at home. As she was always in the same place, we were able to communicate easily. Walking distance to the centre. We stayed 6 nights at Miriam's place in Makkum. It's great house with very good facilities, where nothing was missing. A large bathroom two toilets, 3 bedrooms, a large living and dining area, garden furniture, infrared cabin, washing machine and dryer - all perfect. Even our dog was allowed to travel with us. Everything was clean and communication was friendly and very proactive at all times. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Beautiful house with everything you need within a resort, quietly located 50-100 hundred meters from two beaches. Ideal for family holidays or windsurfing holidays, there are also some bikes in the garage to get around. We can only recommend.

Very nice and spacious place to relax and cook and dine! The house is located between other (detached) houses but has plenty of privacy and a very well-maintained garden with many cozy seats and user comforts. We loved the hot tub, sauna and BBQ facilities.

A beautiful and quiet location with also a bit of excitement (passing boats). You can enjoy yourself with a group, if you want, great for a weekend without leaving the BnB. There was more than enough wood ready for the sauna and hot tub, WiFi, TV and Sonos speakers worked smoothly. Also in the kitchen we could find everything we needed. In addition, there are also plenty of fun things to do in Joure (10 minutes drive). We look back on a very successful weekend.

We had a wonderful time with our children in Makkum! This house is a great place to slow down!
