Our stay with Isabel was wonderful. Her place is charming and vibrant. The gardens and pool are gorgeous. Breakfast in the garden was amazing - delicious and fresh and in a perfect setting. Isabel was friendly and warm and responsive, while still giving us our privacy. The house was a great home base for our exploration of beautiful Texel.

Had a great stay! Perfect walking distance to the city. Nice neighborhood and parking in front of the door. Super nice and well arranged. Definitely recommended if you want to go to Leeuwarden.

It is a special place that is run with a lot of love, in the middle of nature where Fuchs and Has' say good night. We slept in the lower room. The breakfast in Saskia's kitchen /living room was prepared with a lot of love,even freshly squeezed orange juice ❤️The rooms are exceptional and special. A great stay and perfect breakfast! A nice bed and good shower in a particularly attractive farmhouse in a quiet natural green area. Iris is doing well, communicates nicely and I'd love to come back.

We felt welcome with these friendly welcoming people. They have a beautiful garden with all kinds of cozy corners with unobstructed views that you can use.

It was a wonderful stay with Vidi, I'd love to come back. Alkmaar, the great city, its cafes and restaurants invited you to linger and the nearby surroundings to the North Sea, as well as the associated bike tour through the dunes of Bergen, Schoorl and Groet were unforgettably beautiful and are fond memories for me. Dear Linda, We enjoyed a thoroughly delightful stay at your b&b. The scenery was picturesque: an old Dutch farmhouse with a thatched roof set in a beautiful Dutch countryside. I got up for an early morning run and taking in the surrounding area was just a perfect way to start my day. Running among the canals and bridges and breathing the fresh morning air made me forget that I was running. Then I came back to a most satisfying breakfast: scrambled eggs, jam on toast, and wonderful coffee. Thank you so much for giving us an experience that we will never forget. Remco is friendly, and gave extra tips per Whatsapp. However, we arrived on the wrong side via navigation and then you can't get to the right parking spot (you have to get there via a one-way road), but otherwise the service, the village with supermarket and restaurants nearby was fine!

This was the perfect end to my vacation ❤️ Despite the fact that no one else was there, I was served a delicious full breakfast in my up, made with love! Beds sleep great, and it was wonderfully clean 😀 Super nice received by Gonnie and Richard. The perfect address for when I miss the last boat home again! We had a lovely Pentecost weekend! We had signed up for the Buitenkunst Festival Dronten, but did not feel like camping there on the premises. I always search for "Superhost" in the AirBNB app and Sonja's B&B was the closest. Sonja has earned the Superhost status with flying colors! Her B&B is not only called "Hoog in 't Vaandel" (High in the Banner), but is also located "Hoog in 't Vaandel" (at the back of the street, the Banner), but she also has hospitality and customer friendliness "Hoog in 't Vaandel". Breakfast was a feast every morning! And every morning completely different: variations of rolls, crackers, all kinds of cheese, meat toppings and sweet toppings, yogurt, custard, cruesli, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, kiwis, mango, dried fruit, pancakes, sugar bread, crackers, breakfast cake, spakenburg cake, coffee rolls, banana bread, crueslirepen, fresh juice, grapefruit juice, flevosap, eggs etc! We felt very spoiled! We'd love to come back next year!

Rosetta was so welcoming, helpful and genuinely interested in making our experience comfortable. She went above and beyond to help us get my elderly mother’s luggage in as we were unable to get luggage storage we had planned. Our breakfast was amazing. She made me special and delicious low carb options as I had dietary needs. The bedrooms were very comfortable, everything was so nice. I would stay here again in a second.

We had an amazing stay at Miko’s place! Every morning we were suprised with new breakfasy basket, which we loved. Miko is a great host and we would only reccomend staying at this amazing place, just in front of forest and easy access to the beach. We will be back!

I stayed there for one night and it was a great stay. From start to finish, just perfect. I would stay there again at any time. The two are wonderful hosts. There is an "extra thank you" for the magnificent breakfast.

I had an amazing stay at this beautiful room! It was even more stunning and well-organized than the photos. The interior design was tasteful and elegant, with so much attention to detail throughout the house and room — it truly felt special. Located in the heart of nature, it offered the perfect mix of comfort and peace. The apartment was fully equipped — a complete kitchen with tea, coffee, utensils, and thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. There was an optional paid service for meal preparation and snacks, plus a generous complimentary breakfast. One of my favorite parts was the outdoor seating in the backyard garden — a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating. Knowing I had to leave early due to travel plans, they kindly woke up at 5 AM to prepare breakfast for me and pack it to-go. That level of care truly stood out. Highly recommended — I’d absolutely love to return!

The accommodation is very nicely decorated and very cozy. A little smaller than it looked in the pictures, but Maya is a great host!

I had a very nice time, got an upgrade upon arrival because the original room was not quite right yet. Very nice because it was a very nice and larger room. A very nice bed, nice and nice shower. The communication with Sybrich was good, she was very kind and interested.

Fantastic place to stay! Extremely friendly, welcoming hosts, who were also so great that they wanted to pick us up and take us to the Friese Woudenpad we walked! Beautiful quiet place with spotless and stylish room and "living room/kitchen", very warm welcome with drink, also extra possibility to order drinks/snacks, and of course the garden! Especially a piece of garden for guests, including campfire pit and gazebo. Oh and within walking distance of supermarket, restaurant and bus stop. What else do you want? In one word, great!❤️ We'll definitely be back sometime 😀
