Apartment vacation rentals in Stroud Township

We enjoyed our stay at Tom's place. Tom was very responsive. When we faced heating issues, he sent a technician the following day. It would be better to update the house rules and instructions by pointing out where the thermostat is upstairs. When we found that the place had no baking sheets, new baking sheets were delivered to the door the next day. Nevertheless, Tom is a great host and this place is great for my family.

Quaint little place. If you just need a fridge, microwave n and coffee maker, this is the place. Clean, comfortable, bright. Maybe don't bring the largest and heaviest suitcase you have like I did, because .....stairs. Biggest thing was the host was very friendly and very responsive and answered all my questions before booking. Definitively will stay here again next time I'm in town.

Super nice place to stay!

The place worked well for us. Within walking distance of a great restaurant, Bonnie & Clydes and a pizza place and supermarket practically next door. It was clean and well laid out. We weren't fond of one of the bedroom setups but made do. A very short drive from down town Jim Thorpe. I would recommend this as a good place to stay.

Heather is an amazing host, and this space is so cute for a couples weekend away. We really loved the pool table, and the tips Heather printed out had some great suggestions.

Nina was very sweet and friendly, she made sure I knew how to use everything and even left me some fruit to start my day! Her home is absolutely beautiful with paintings along the walls and hung around the room, the house evokes a nostalgic feeling and was very fast to feel comfortable in! Her instructions were clear and easy to understand, leaving me with little questions and making it a pleasant stay! The space gets beautiful sunlight in the morning and has a lovely view of the stream cutting through the surrounding yards! Plants all around the home makes it evident that the space is well loved. Everything was very clean and there were even toiletries provided in case I’d forgotten anything! I will most definitely be back to stay when I come through the area again! Enjoyed my stay tremendously. It was like having a snug nest in the forest. Yet, you could hop in the car and visit nearby stores and restaurants in minutes. I especially liked the park that was just down the road where I walked my dog every day. All in all a great place.

Absolutely outstanding and quaint. Kelly was so responsive, the house was so quaint and rustic! Loved the whole vibe and the food at the General Store was soooo good!!!!! Absolutely would recommend this is you like charming and rustic finishes with an outstanding host! Everything was so cute!!!!

One of our best experiences with Airbnb. We love to try different places with extra charm, and this place didn’t disappoint! Jim and Dee went above and beyond thinking of all the little Things when they put together this little zen gem. Tons of detail, lots of extra touches, snacks, wine, the famous muffins! Jim gave us a rundown on the history of the pizza capital and surrounding areas. Communication was great, recommendations were spot on for our pizza hopping adventure. We enjoyed walking the cemetery too down the road. We highly recommend this place and would love to stay again if we are back in the area!

This is a great, quiet place to stay in the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area. The apartment is clean and spacious and has a wonderful work space and living area with plenty of natural sunlight! The neighborhood is beautiful and peaceful.

Angie's place was just what we needed for the weekend. The location is very convenient, with restaurants nearby, and Angie always answered our questions.

The rental felt right at home. It was roomy, the back patio area was spacious and peaceful. She communicated well with me and my overall experience was great. I'd definitely rent from her again, easily 5 stars!

Aurelio’s place is exactly as shown in the pictures—spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and very comfortable. It had everything we needed for a smooth and relaxing stay. Aurelio was super responsive and easy to communicate with throughout. We felt well taken care of from start to finish. Highly recommend staying here!

Chloe’s place was great for my wife and I. Very spacious and in an extremely quiet and walkable area. A big bonus is the private porch, which is spacious and fully covered., should it be raining. We enjoyed our morning coffee and watching the sun rise from there. There is a beautiful walking area (5 min drive) with a creek and nice waterfall! Plenty of restaurants as well. Chloe was extremely easy to communicate, very friendly and responded to any questions quite fast. We will definitely try to make it back to her place and highly recommend it to others

Mary and Teresa's space was a wonderful experience - beautiful, historic home on a beautiful piece of property on the Lake. Mary greeted us and gave us some history which added a personal touch. Very comfortable bed, shower and living room. We were only there for two full days but we took a trip into Jim Thorpe (Mary's suggestion) and it was worth it - happening little town. Not much I can say that hasn't been divulged already in the AirBnb comments - except you will not be disappointed! Also, I'd like to note that my husband and I are avid AirBnBers and find there are two types of hosts that offer their space - those that seem to place profit over people (lacking in connection) and those that seem to like a win-win - Mary and Teresa are definitely the 2nd category! Thank you!

I was looking for a place that felt like home and this was exactly it. It was so spacious and honestly had everything I needed. I think the bathroom was definitely my fave area in the house; it was beautifully lit and nicely remodeled. Bernard was so easy to contact and would resolve any issues I had immediately. I definitely highly recommend!

Elizabeth was extremely helpful and always available. The place was a little different than the photos, but still nothing wrong. We would definitely book it again!

The place was great and exactly as described. Very homey and close to Shawnee, which was our primary reason for the stay. There was access to an indoor pool, exercise room, game rooms for kids. I unfortunately mixed up the dates of the stay, but front desk staff and Gina were all very understanding and kind about the situation.
