The experience at Mully and Deb’s cabin exceeded my expectations for a personal retreat. Being right on the walking path is such a treasure - with so many hiking paths just steps away outside. I was amazed out how incredibly quiet the location was. I could be out in those woods and hear no human activity. Fantastic! The cabin is extremely cozy with two reclining chairs that look out over the forest. This is where I found myself for hours reading and journaling. The wood fired stove is more than enough to keep you warm - even in this cooler time. And of course breakfast was a sure highlight - prepared with a lot of thoughtfulness. If you’re looking for a retreat - look no further than this cabin on the path.

Beautiful property, feels private and remote even though right off the highway. Unique mid-century modern decor/interior design — not your typical sterile, greige cookie cutter Airbnb! Responsive, friendly hosts. I stayed here over the Christmas holiday, and Matt went out of his way to salt/shovel the walkways/driveway the morning of Christmas Eve when it had snowed the previous night. Highly recommend, I would definitely stay here again!

Love this spot, this was my second time staying here! I was in town to attend a show at Fox Theatre and walked there & back, just a little over a mile away... This space is very basic & that might not be everyone's cup of tea, but it worked perfectly for me & I will definitely be checking the availability on this place the next time I plan on heading to Detroit!

My sister and I had a peaceful long weekend at Fish Tales. It was clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the lake. It was fun to take the kayaks out and just RELAX. We chose this cabin as our Christmas destination spot this year. Easily accommodated 5 adults and 5 kids under the age of 12, all of which were entertained by all the cabin has to offer. We’ve stayed in lots of cabins and this was our favorite! It was so gorgeous, private and peaceful. Annette was so responsive and hosted us wonderfully making sure a tree was up and there were Christmas decorations out and about to make it extra festive. Can’t say enough great things about our stay.

Unfortunately the hot tub was not heating up properly. Everything else was nice and clean and matched photos as described. The neighborhood was nice and quiet, not even a lot of cars driving through. I think the house next to the listed house has a dog that barked occasionally but nothing unmanageable. Overall it was a good stay!

The cabin gave you a private, woodsy, middle of nowhere vibes without actually being in the middle of nowhere. Super close to amenities, restaurants and things to do. We did have to dispose of one spider but that made it feel all the more like you were actually in the woods.

Our second year staying here for a family retreat. It is difficult to find an Airbnb that sleeps 8, but also has room for 8 at the kitchen table and on the sofa, and we are appreciative that this property does. Well stocked and comfortable.

It was cozy and perfect for a winter getaway—we loved spending time playing games and relaxing together. Overall, it was a great experience, and we’d definitely stay here again!

I must say I didn’t get to stay the full time I intended due to a small mishap on my end and when I say Brady was so nice and helpful and fully understanding even refunded me because I couldn’t stay (once again for something on my end) this really restored my hope in humanity! Very professional, kind and easy to communicate with. Would literally respond in seconds when I messaged! I’m Definitely going to book in the summer sometime.

This cozy little gem is a great little getaway place for a weekend stay. All your basic amenities. Clean, easy check in and such a great view. Walking distance to a few places to eat, but not to far from Ann Arbor either. Host was very responsive; friendly. I would totally stay there again.
