The quiet location on the Gera River on the edge of the Steigerwald in connection with the proximity to the city and the good transport connections offers an ideal starting point for visits to Erfurt and the surrounding area, as well as for hiking and biking excursions. The Gera bike path leads directly along the house. Business travelers will find quiet and relaxing nights as well as free parking.

We rent a lovingly furnished apartment of 60 square meters. A large double bed is available and on request for a fee 2 extra beds. Fireplace and central heating provide pleasant warmth The kitchen is fully equipped. Separate entrance via the courtyard. In the village, there is a monastery. The accommodation is located directly on the Unstrut bike path. You can reach Erfurt in 25 minutes, Sömmerda in 12 minutes, Weimar in 40 minutes. Parking inside the yard. Smoking is allowed outside the apartment.

In the early 1960s, the Nobel Prize winner Heinrich Böll was already seeking relaxation in the former Jesuit college of Erfurt-Hochheim. Here you will find our apartment "Zur Engelsherberge" on the upper floor. It is a 90 m² duplex apartment tastefully furnished for four people in a designer style and has a comfortably furnished kitchen, a spacious bathroom with separate shower and a large, sunny living room, as well as a bedroom (2 people) and a sleeping gallery with a bed.

Combined living room & bedroom (room 1) with double bed as well as TV, play corner and sofa with sleep function. In the fully equipped kitchen with large dining table is the access to the terrace. Small, fine bathroom with spacious shower & underfloor heating. Number of rooms depends on number of guests. The apartment is pleasantly cool in summer.

The apartment is located in the immediate vicinity of the city park, the Orangerie and the center of Gotha. Just like the train station and sights such as the castle, the Natural History Museum, everything can be reached in a few minutes. It has a separate entrance just for our guests. This is now the third apartment and we hope that this is also sufficient for our guests' expectations. We look forward to seeing as many interesting guests as possible!

The kitchen is fully equipped with a coffee machine, toaster and kettle. The washer-dryer is also integrated in this. The high ceilings and large windows give a great sense of space, which is underlined by modern LED lamps. Dim the rooms or set their light temperature as desired.
