We decided to go away over the new year and chose Kristine and Hans place in Norway What a great choice ! Kristine and Hans where great and very accommodating and could not do enough, they kept us informed about everything all the way We had the best holiday ever, we had everything we could wish for, the northern lights and a ton of snow We were snowed in on the last day and Kristine and Hans let us stay a extra night as we could not travel They where the perfect hosts and we will be stopping here again without any hesitation Thanks you both

What a wonderful home away from home for a long weekend! The house is part of two different worlds - one the rural Norway of the past and the other very much the present. Being on a working dairy farm also made us reflect on the sources of our food and how much we take for granted day-to-day. We enjoyed convenient access to kayaking, hiking, cruising the fjord by ferry to Geiranger, and cooking local foods in the well-appointed kitchen. Special thanks to Synnove for fresh home-baked bread and sending on our way with slices of cake for the journey.

We recently stayed at Terje’s charming farmhouse in Norway’s Hjørundfjord, and it was a special experience. The farmhouse blends old-world charm with modern amenities and offers breathtaking views of the fjord. The house is equipped with all modern comforts, including a well-stocked kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, a big-screen smart TV, an outdoor hot tub, and comfortable beds to accommodate a large group. Two ferry ports a short drive from the farmhouse offer free rides to Ålesund, the roadless village of Trandal, and other destinations. Terje was exceptionally hospitable, providing great recommendations for local hiking activities and promptly responding to all our inquiries. He went above and beyond to make our stay at the farmhouse exceptional. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful and picturesque getaway!

Super great place to stay with stunning views! The jacuzzi and the free ferry to Leknes gave our stay the perfect finishing touch. In addition, the Airbnb is very cozy/lovingly decorated and fantastically equipped, including numerous board games and children's toys. Had a lovely stay at this cabin! Beautiful location with so stunning views all around. The cabin was clean and cozy, everything was as described. A lovely warm shower after a rainy day was perfect! Friendly and fast replies from the host Anita. Highly recommend!

Awesome and charming house 😊 Well equipped with what you need to stay. A little secluded place, but by car it's not a problem! Lovely with hot tub 👌 Never met the host, but easy to communicate with her on message, she responded quickly if there was anything we were wondering about. The stay is recommended by us, we are happy to book again if we are going to the area at a later date!

The place was very cozy, quiet and secluded, just as we imagined it. The amenities were great and everything you needed was there. A huge advantage was the charging station for electric cars. Bottolf was a very good host and gave us a few tips for excursion destinations in the area. We would definitely recommend the place.

We loved staying here! The house was the perfect size and so cozy. The view was amazing and the proximity to hikes and Runde island to see the puffins were perfect. Check in was easy and the host is very responsive and helpful. It had everything you needed and felt like being at home, If home was overlooking a fjord and mountains! Would definitely stay here again I absolutely loved it!

This place was perfect for our needs. Group of six. Came in for one night. Able to make a great dinner the kitchen. Great nights sleep. Easy access to the via feratta. Would stay agin! Great place.

Great view, on a farm with chickens, sheeps, cats and a rooster! Great base for hiking and climbing. It is their home so fully equipped.

A fantastic property, exactly as described, with all needs taken care of. All major attractions within a 30 minute drivable distance and a grocery store that sells practically everything literally at your doorstep We really should have planned to stay for longer than 2 days.

We had an amazing stay at an amazing Norwegian farmhouse with hiking nearby and floating saunas on the fjord in Sæbo. Very central to take ferries wherever you want to go. We highly recommend staying here!

We had a wonderful stayin a calm and beautiful place surrounded by mountains. The house was clean and fully equipped. Its a good place to stay with family and friends. Catherine is proactive and responsive.

nice cottage in a beautiful location with a view of the snow-covered mountains everything you need was there spent a day in Ålesund, beautiful! delicious meal at restaurant Raus in Sykkylven only a pity that we had a lot of rain

For us, it was an ideal accommodation - even without a view of the fjord. There is a wonderful seating and dining area right by the window overlooking the mountains. Everything was really available in the kitchen, including a large refrigerator. There were only two of us, but the apartment would also be well suited for a family with three children (in a separate bedroom). The stay in the large apartment also helped us in rainy weather. We can recommend the apartment in good conscience.

Ole-Søren was very nice and welcoming, responded quickly and extensively. The cabin was nice, very convenient to ski from the parking to the ski lift! Recommend both Ole-Søren and the cabin👍😊

We had a wonderful stay with Edith & Jon Arne in Norangdal and look forward to returning next summer! The scenery was beautiful, the home was exceptionally clean, and the warm welcome we received from our hosts was the epitome of hospitality. The beds were very comfortable and the tiny details of comfort were not overlooked. Blackout curtains for the midnight sun helped ensure a good nights rest. The homemade chocolate confectionary and scones were a culinary delight! It is so special to enjoy time with truly talented people.

The cabin is the perfect get away. It's charming and cozy and comfortable and the view is out of this world. Everything was very clean. Easy to find. We really recommend !

We had a super winter holiday at the cabin , would love to come back! Nice location close to the cover and the cabin is well equipped and large. Perfect starting point for some nice relaxing days!

We had a great time in Valldal. Plenty nearby activities, nature, hikes and amazing views. Especially the view from the house to the fjord (while being in the hot tub) was stunning. The house provides everything you need, even some fruits you can pick in the garden. All 8 of us enjoyed our time in Valldal.
