Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Strait of Juan de Fuca

Deanna and John are incredibly hospitable and very nice! The place is spectacular! We had a beautiful view right at the ocean (even from the bed) and the mountains! The room is very tastefully furnished and equipped with a comfortable king size bed, a massage chair, a fridge, a microwave, a beautiful bathroom and a balcony with a great view! Deanna even went the extra mile to fulfil our wish by getting us Frappuccino. There are treats and snacks in the room and plenty of food in the kitchen area! Wonderful! A special surprise was the indoor pool with a counter-current system. I would have given more than 5 stars if that would be possible! Thank you for the great experience!

My young daughter and I stayed at Renay’s for four nights. Our spacious bedroom had a view of the beautiful garden outback. A delicious breakfast of granola, yogurt, and fresh fruit awaited us in the common room every morning. Renay was happy to offer suggestions of places to visit on the island. I would highly recommend Renay’s if you are looking for a peaceful and comfortable place to stay while on Gabriola.

I had extremely wonderful experience staying at Cedar Hill. We were travelling with my 11 month old & Brigitte was so helpful. She even warmed up milk for whenever I asked. The place was very clean and location was great as well. 🥰

We enjoyed our stay at Tom’s cottage. Langley and the surrounds are beautiful . Tom and the neighbours made us feel very welcome and i would recommend this place

Sharon's place was a quiet, homely wood house/cabin in the woods. With the island being quite small, everything is in very close driving distance. As AirBnBs were originally intended, the house is very much lived in, so you are a guest in someone's home and should expect to see personal belongings around the house. Sharon's breakfast is to die for, don't miss it! The house is in the shade which means it stays nice and cool in the summer, and there is a lovely wrap around porch to relax on and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Sharon kept mostly out of the house but was responsive over text, and we enjoyed chatting with her while she made breakfast. One of my favourite stays of my trip so far!

This is a beautiful home located on the shore of a protected ocean lagoon! They have kayaks and canoes you can use to explore the waters and get up close and personal with all the wildlife like sea otters, bald eagles, cormorants, and all kinds of other ducks and waterfowl. Sunrise over the Strait of Juan de Fuca is a peaceful and gorgeous way to start your day. It's only 20 minutes from downtown Victoria to the east, and then just 30 minutes west for hiking some of the best beaches and forest trails along the Strait of Juan de Fuca! Excellent hosts, you will love your stay at Birds of a Feather!

Lovely stay Cindy’s private guest suite! This was a very cozy and quiet airbnb and extremely well stocked for our needs. Instructions were clear for parking and access. Breakfast items were included which was lovely! Lots of food options a close drive away, and our host even recommended a cherry blossom festival happening during our stay. We had a wonderful experience. Cindy was very responsive to our needs.

What an amazing experience. We had a great night in the aft room of the boat. It was cute and quite cozy. We enjoyed seeing the ferry coming and going and watching the stars from the deck at night. Lots of great restaurants and shops within walking distance. It made for a memorable anniversary!

After reading all the other reviews before booking, the stay was exactly what we expected. A quaint and quiet place with a beautiful view to wake up to everyday. Robin delivered tasty baked treats every morning and the wine that was readily available when we arrived for tasting was a nice touch. We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at Jake & Lynda's. They were very responsive from the beginning and were flexible as we figured out our arrival plans. The space was very clean and well-kept, with beautiful sunset views over the water.

We had such an enjoyable stay at the 5 elements spa! The host was great, with a nice check-in where we were shown around the property and spa. He also gave us great local recommendations. A highlight was being able to use the sauna and the steam room located there ! We would highly recommend

Claudia made us feel welcome before we even arrived. She was so kind and the property was beautiful. Adorable farm animals, fruit trees, walkable and cute little spots to sit in the scenery. Friday Harbor is just a ferry ride away for us but it was the perfect getaway. Claudia’s breakfast was absolutely delicious and it was so fun chatting with her in the morning. Whether you need a night getaway or a week to decompress, this is where you want to be. Right down the road from downtown and home cooked breakfast to start your day. Cherry on top, our room was adorable and felt super private even with roommates next door. Thank you, Claudia! We will be back! 🫶🏻❤️

Off the charts hospitality- these two exceeded every expectation and spoiled us with two unbelievable gourmet breakfasts, in their immaculate, perfectedly decorated and proportioned custom log home. Absolute silence when inside, and outside was alive with the sounds of happy spring birds, and breakfasts were made with their own henhouse eggs (Ken is an 'animal whisperer' it would seem 🤗) and their amazing gardens and manicured, yet natural grounds are delightful, and ooze with tranquility and peacefulness. We even witnessed Roosevelt Elk at dusk both evenings, which frequent that part of our Island. Hummingbirds, robin's, ravens and of course lots of pollinators filling the daytime air, as they fed on the many wild flowers - and - there is even a small babbling creek to create a delightful soundscape when sitting outdoors. as cyclists, having their 5 acres borders a perfect 20 km forested smooth gravel bike path that was once a railway bed- gentle grades- stunning scenery! 11/10!

A great retreat for a mom and two kiddos looking for a change of scenery. My kids 6 and 9 slept in the garden suite and I slept in the lake view room just above. I worked during the day while my kids were off at a local camp and we all felt right at home. The environment was quiet and we had all the amenities needed for a comfy week away from home over spring break. Ashley is a super host who took my kiddos on a little tour of the backyard oasis to visit the ducks and small pond. I look forward to future stays here.

Had an incredible stay at Emma’s! The suite itself was impeccably clean and well furnished. The location was perfect - quiet and secluded overlooking the forest. Absolutely loved the private hot tub, barbecue, and fire pit! Emma was super responsive and thoughtful leading up to and during our stay. I couldn’t recommend her place enough!

Das Haus von Daisy war sehr gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet und liegt in einer ruhigen und sicheren Wohngegend. Das Zimmer ist extrem sauber, komfortabel und mit allen nützlichen Gadgets ausgestattet. Die Gastfreundlichkeit sowie die Herzlichkeit von Daisy haben meine Erwartungen bei weitem übertroffen, ich fühlte mich sofort wie zu Hause. Ich habe noch nie eine Gastgeberin erlebt, die ein B&B mit so viel Leidenschaft führt. Ich war alleine in Vancouver und Daisy hat mir sehr geholfen, mich einzuleben und sich liebevoll um alles gekümmert ❤️! Und nicht zu vergessen ist Lulu der herzige Pudel 😃. Das Frühstücksangebot ist ausserordentlich gross, dies habe ich sehr geschätzt. Auch sonst gibt es immer frisches Obst, Kekse, usw. Danke Daisy, dass ich dein Gast sein durfte 🙏🏻, ich werde meinen Aufenthalt bei dir nie vergessen!!

Amanda and Chris are wonderful people and hosts. I felt welcomed, cared for and am grateful to have found their beautiful bed and breakfast. Amanda is a gourmet cook! The food was amazing. On Saturday evening, I was planning to meet some friends in town for dinner, and she suggested we instead have dinner at their place! I am so glad we said yes. Amanda made an incredible 4 course Mexican meal for us, while Chris supported and entertained. They are such lovely folks and provided lots of great tips about the area as well. The accommodation was clean, cute and the yard is gorgeous. I would highly recommend!

I'm so glad I chose to stay in this beautiful private room with a detached bathroom! The moment I stepped in, I felt at peace. The host is incredibly polite, nice, and welcoming. Contrary to previous reviews, I didn't encounter any issues with cockroaches. The room was spotless, and the detached bathroom was clean and well-maintained. The location is perfect - just a 5-minute walk to supermarkets, banks, and major areas. You'll love the convenience of having everything at your doorstep! The living room and kitchen are equipped with all the amenities you need, including fast Wi-Fi. Plus, the free parking right at the door and laundry is a huge bonus! New management has really made a difference - everything is well-organized, and the communication is top-notch. I highly recommend this listing to anyone looking for a peaceful, convenient, and affordable stay in the city. Don't hesitate to book - you won't regret it! 5 stars isn't enough - I'd give it 10 stars if I could!

This is the cutest place to stay at. Very clean and nicely decorated. I felt so fancy being there and there’s so many things to do around the property. I highly recommend this place!

Karin's room & house was very peaceful and well-prepared for a stay in the Duncan area. She was very easy to communicate with and very responsive to any questions. The room is quiet with the bathroom right across the hallway. Breakfast was delicious and she and Tony & Molly (their friendly dog) were a pleasure to meet and spend time with.
