Vacation rentals in Strafford

Had a lovely longer-term stay here. The house is beautiful with classic old New England character but totally modern features inside. Walking distance to several walking trails and coffee shops and short drives to countless places for swimming, hiking, rock climbing, and walking. The hosts were extremely kind and accommodating. No complaints here, we had a wonderful stay!

It was perfect for what we wanted! We were giving Grandma an 80th Hallmark Experience. A lot of what we did was in Woodstock and it was a noce 30 min ride to the town, but for us very convenient. We had a family of 14 and we played games in ythe main living room all together. The downstairs was perfect for our older kids to hang out in!

This house was great for a large group to visit Sunapee area. Cassandra was responsive and helpful. The house was clean, neat, very well stocked, and had plenty of space and things to do.

I couldn't recommend this place more! My cousins and I had a great time and Uli is super attentive. The hot tub has a great view of the lake, it was also salt water which I love. The space was extremely cozy and exactly what we needed. We snowboarded pico and killington and it was about a 25-30 minute ride. We will for sure be back! Thank you guys so much!

Stephanie was an Incredible host! The listing matched her description and the property looked even better upon checking in. Stephanie maintains this property really well and I couldn’t have felt any more at home. The home was clean and had a perfect cozy feeling to it. In addition, this was really close to the mountain, which made the getaway even better. I enjoyed the privacy and waking up to a nice snow dusting before my trip to the mountain. I highly suggested staying at Stephanie’s property if you’re looking for a quick getaway. I certainly will be looking to book again soon. Thank you Stephanie!

What a great place. It was very enjoyable for the whole family. There were plenty of board games, and an arcade game (packman along with many other old game's to choose from). It was sleek, it was spotless and had everything we needed. We loved the area and spa. Thanks and we will hopefully see your great place again soon.

The house was absolutely perfect and had everything you need. The view is gorgeous through the great room windows. We actually had a snow storm while we were there, and thankfully the home has a generator! (Not anything I thought of) so there was no interruption when the power went out on the street. Just a perfect cozy stay for our family. We will be back very soon !!

Excellent house with great hosts! We were visiting schools with our daughter and felt at home from arriving. Location is beautiful, right on the lake with unobstructed views. House is welcoming and functional and looks recently updated with beautiful accents and honestly better kitchen than our own! nice screened in porch overlooking lake, use of the kayaks (which we took advantage of in the AM, lake was like a mirror). Bedroom with balcony overlooking lake was also so nice. hosts couldn't have been more accomodating, even provided us with a lobster pot when we forgot ours! Highly recommended and loved our time their although it was too short!
