Tunbridge Home with a View

TrishRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We had a wonderful weekend stay at David and Beth's home. We had a friendly greeting upon arrival (as well as delicious homemade cookies and maple candies!) David and Beth's home is attached to the apartment but it was quiet and they were unobtrusive. The Tunbridge area is beautiful - quintessential VT! The property is tucked away a bit (SO Vermont!) but our all wheel drive car handled a little bit of late February mud and rolling hills without a problem. We prefer to eat in and brought some food to prepare in the well-equipped kitchen (however we did go to a great burger bar for lunch in Royalton about 20 mins away). The apartment was warm, cozy and comfortable - a perfect meeting place for us and our two adult children - just what we were looking for! Thank you David and Beth - we may see you again next year!

Hideaway-Private, Peaceful, Cozy, Tranquil, Pets

AlisonRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Our stay was great. It was close to where we wanted to be. The place was as described in the listing, but do make note that there isn’t a door to the bedroom, it is a curtain (visible in the pictures for the listing, but easily overlooked). That made things a little challenging with young kids who go to bed early. All in all, this house fit our needs and next time we are in town to visit, we hope to stay again. The hosts were super responsive and great to work with. We truly enjoyed our stay.

The Pond Cottage at Taplin Hill Farm

SarahRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This is our second visit to this peaceful paradise and we plan to return in the future. It’s a dog’s paradise too! Steve & Kent are the most thoughtful hosts. They really have thought of everything to make their guests (human & canine) feel welcome and comfortable. The property is peaceful and private. It’s the perfect place to unplug from the world and recharge by being present in the picturesque natural surroundings.

This was the perfect long weekend getaway. The home was vert comfortable. Great beds and the shower had good water pressure. The yard was beautiful. It was so nice to sit by the fire at night. The kitchen had all the basics and it was easy to make meals. I would absolutely recommend this home for a long weekend with friends or family.

The Mill House

CatherineRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We stayed at the Mill House on a grand highlights tour of New England, and Emily and Trevor’s place was by far our favorite accommodations. Our days were busy, and it was perfect to come back and relax by the creek. The home was very clean, beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. We would return again and again if we didn’t live so far away.
