Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Stormsrivier

We had a lovely stay at Sanctuary House with our 7 year old son and 80 year old mum. The house has everything you need and more. The pool deck and braai area is great and it was also great to have a fire pit outside and fire place inside too. The weather was a bit changeable during our stay so these were well used. The house is in a good location with shops nearby and easy to reach other areas in Plet. Communication with Richard during our stay was excellent. I would highly recommend this holiday house.

5 Stars – A Slice of Paradise in Knysna! We had the most incredible stay at this beautiful home in Knysna. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed — the hosts greeted us warmly and had thoughtfully left snacks, a bottle of wine, and even a delicious cake for us to enjoy. Such a special touch that set the tone for the rest of our stay. The house itself is stunning — spotless, beautifully decorated, and perfectly equipped with everything we needed. The peaceful location made it the perfect place to unwind. We loved spending time on the patio, soaking in the scenery, and enjoying relaxed evenings by the fire. The location is ideal too — just a short drive from town, yet far enough to feel like a private retreat. This place truly felt like a home away from home, and we can’t wait to return. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

Lyn's place was absolutely fantastic. Only a five minute walk from the lagoon, the house is smart, comfortable, well equipped and definitely highly recommended for a stay in Nature's Valley.

A great spot by the Knysna lagoon. What impresses most is the stylish and elegant house with Japanese design. It's not too large and not too small - feels elegant and cozy at the same time. We enjoyed the wood stove, the really nice braai area and most of all the location. As a bonus, it's five minutes walk by the lagoon to the newly refurbished Food Lovers Market, too. Our host was professional, friendly and really sharp. Would book again.

Brilliant newly renovated house in the Crags with fantastic views from the upstairs balconies. The patio is particularly great and the master bedroom upstairs is having a ton of light coming in from huge windows. Close to the shops in Plettenberg and close to Nature's Valley (should be high on your list when visiting this part of the Garden Route). We traveled with small children so we didn't go on the hikes on the property but I'm sure that they are lovely. The shared pool is basically just behind the house and is fenced next to a small playground (great place for kids). Carol that is onsite is a lovely person and very helpful.

We had an incredible stay. The house has everything you need. The braai area was a great area to relax. It is close to the beach, walking distance. We will definitely book again.

This beautiful accommodation is one of a kind. The location could not be any better, located just a few driving minutes from the beach and just a few minutes from the city of Plett. The house itself is very modern and got access to a private garden you can use. We had a lovely time!!!

We had a great stay at the studio on the Hill. Ronel was very helpful and kind with recommendations and making sure we were settled. Beautiful views and surroundings. We were able to find the Airbnb with no concerns thanks to Ronel’s instructions. It can get a bit chilly - so make sure you bring layers! Would deffo recommend staying here for a lovely time!

Lovely place to stay. The host was there the whole time to help with any questions, perfect place for a couple to stay. Felt right at home. Fridge filled with beers upon arrival. Legend!

Simonne’s place was extremely serene. Beautiful surroundings with wonderful views. They were extremely helpful in finding the location and gave us a warm welcome. Our overnight stay was extremely pleasant and met all of our needs. It was very close to all of the activities that we had planned for the next day (hiking to Tsitiskamma suspension bridge and the trail to the Big Tree). We highly recommend them.

We had a wonderful two-night stay! Henk is the perfect host - communicative, incredibly friendly and had all the best recommendations. His place was in pristine condition and had everything (and more) needed for a comfortable stay. It is a quick drive down to the center of town and has a beautiful view of the beach. I’d highly recommend this spot and we look forward to returning soon.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Erica’s flat in Plett. The flat is well located in a safe and well maintained complex near Plett’s best beaches and convenient shops. It was comfortable and spacious and we particularly enjoyed the outside dining space. Plett is a wonderful place to visit with lots of outdoor activities and great restaurants and shops. We will be back! Thank you for a fantastic holiday.

soooo;- Hands down, all time favorite staycation destination!!! Everything about the place; the location, the stillness, the cold air and steam inside of that superb shower setup ... its magical! If you need some privacy, personal time to be just by joursef - this is where you go to find the answers. If you're lucky enough to have a cuddle buddy, I'd strongly suggest you try a couple days here. Rest, take the walking trial and snuggle up next to the fireplace at night. Can't wait to return!!! Thank you so much Katherine and our wonderful host, your mother, Sheila. We so enjoyed staying at Sunbird Cabin for a long weekend. The cabin was light, had a fresh, upgraded feel about it. So much thought had gone into the tastefully decorated, super-comfortable living spaces with beautiful pine touches and appropriate accessories. We really enjoyed relaxing on the deck in the afternoon sun. The trees surrounding the cabin gave privacy and welcomed the birds. A special treat was the coffee shop on the property, where we enjoyed a light lunch. This was beyond our expectation and an extremely restful weekend. Thank you so much.

It was our second time in “fly me to the moon” and it is probably my best airbnb experience ever. A perfect fairytale-house to escape from the world, surrounded by innocent nature. Hope to come back one day!

We love everything about this very special Cabin and had the most wonderful weekend with our friends and kids. It’s even better than in pictures and the views and location just so special. The place is extremely nice and the Forrest outside gives you a wilderness feel. It’s a very calm area and the host is super friendly and gives good instructions.
