Cabin vacation rentals in Stonewall Jackson Lake

HUGE thanks to the folks at Camp Holly for making our trip magical! They noticed and fixed a reservation issue before we even arrived, attentively checked in each day and asked if we needed anything, and even generously offered us some hot dogs for use as bait in the fishing lake-- we were treated like family from the moment we arrived. The cabin was PERFECT and the animals were so sweet! One particular kitty, Felix, even hung out inside with us for a few hours. Complete with walking trails, a peaceful babbling creek, boats available for use in the lake, firewood available for purchase, and a delicious diner across the road, this camp is basically an all-inclusive resort. We had a blast here and were honestly very sad to leave-- but we plan to come back as soon as we can, that's for sure!

I travel the whole state. This is one of the nicest places I've stayed if you're looking for peace and quiet and a super clean place to stay. Heather is without a doubt the nicest person I've dealt with in all of my travels with Airbnb. If peace and quiet, beautiful views, and privacy is what you're looking for, this place is for you!

My partner and I stayed for three days and it was such a wonderful place to stay! Extremely beautiful and peaceful - and quiet. The animals were so cute and friendly. Misty was an excellent host. She’s super kind and accommodating. We definitely will be back in the future! Thank you again so much! We also went to Pizzas n Cream nearby and we highly recommend it too! Great pizza and such kind owners.

Perfect for people who appreciate a great value, love nature and want to find some peace & quiet. You have the feeling of camping, but all the amenities of being at home and then some. Full kitchen, propane grill, tv w/dvds. The bed is wonderful. Many spots at the cabin to sit and observe nature and the river. Driveway is long, but was no challenge at all. There is a Wal Mart and some restaurants about 20 mins away. There is a water filter on the sink. Heated toilet seat. Bobs place is sparkling clean, and very well thought out. The effort truly shows. The only rules at Bob's are; relax and have fun. Already booked my next trip before we even left the first trip! All around, 100/10.

The cabin is beautiful. It is definitely not for people taller than 5'5 there is not much space between the floor and ceiling. The decorations are absolutely gorgeous. It was pretty quiet however there were a lot of other cabins/houses on the property which is not listed in the details of the ad. The hot tub didn't stay hot so we only used it once. I would definitely recommend fixing it or replacing it for future guests. Other than those two minor details Skippers cabin is a great place to stay for a weekend getaway.

The cabin was so lovely - even prettier than the pictures. The view from the back deck was beautiful! Beds were comfortable and cabin felt spacious. Rocky was so kind and responsive throughout!

This cabin is truly "a little bit of heaven" from the peaceful setting to the beauty of nature in early spring. We were able to fish as desired and rest and relax when at the cabin. Kitchen was fully equipped so meals at the cabin were easy. So quiet and swing on front porch set the mood for "front porch sitting".

This cozy cabin was perfect for my family of 5 kids! We came to go skiing for the first time at snowshoe and the cabin was a perfect private retreat for family time, games, and a hot tub for aches and pains from skiing! Super clean, cozy and we had everything needed including laundry detergent we forgot! Filtered cold water tower was extra nice for all our yeti refills! We were party of 7 but 10 can sleep comfortably, plus two full baths! Crockpot, two types of coffee makers, toaster, all cooking utensils needed for big breakfasts and convenient supper! Stacy was very responsive. Her cabins are located near the best restaurant Forks! The sauna located inside the bathroom was enjoyable after a day of skiiing!

The place was beautiful, being able to hear the creek/river from the airbnb while sitting on the back porch was amazing!! Very cute and cozy place for a vacation. Didn’t have any issues with bugs!

This home is in a beautiful, nature all around setting with a creek/river practically at the door step. The daily friendly revisiting deer, playful Blue Jay's at back bird feeder, etc..very 😎cool!!. The home was exceptionally stocked with anything/everything one could possibly need for a restful & relaxing stay... soo comfy, cozy & super clean! The hosts were quick to respond to our reach outs & very accommodating. Their goal was to fully support & quickly address whatever question we had to ensure our stay was nothing but enjoyable 😉.

This is a beautiful place, and you won't regret staying here. The house was perfect for our family of 4 and our dog, although it can accommodate a much larger group if needed. The game room was so much fun, and the house is equipped with literally everything that you could ever need. We had forgotten a few items but were pleasantly surprised to find them at the house (a meat thermometer, a bluetooth speaker, a crock pot, etc.). The host is incredibly proactive and responsive - it was just the perfect stay.

Jason was very good with communication. We were able to check in early. The area and house is great. Kitchen has everything you need. We even caught a trout right down from the house!
