Cabin vacation rentals in Stokes County

We had 6 adults and 2 children visiting the area for a family funeral in Patrick Springs, VA. Martinsville was nearest larger city but hotel rooms as pricey per night as this rental and we were all together and 15 minutes closer. Was the perfect 4 bed and 3 bath home for us to enjoy our time together and Bessie was awesome. Thank you!

Chantilly Ridge was such a sweet stay! After difficulties with the keypad entry, Rebecca was quick to respond and get us in. As soon as the door opened, we were greeted with the smell of a nice hotel. Smelled so great! Everything is so neat and clean and all that you could possibly need for a stay is provided. The cabin is not far from dining, outdoor activities and grocery stores (even Walmart). We loved the seclusion and peace that surrounded the cabin. Thank you for a beautiful and cozy stay. We can’t wait to come back!

All I can say is wow! This home is the perfect vacation spot!! A ton of privacy, very clean and plenty of yard for your fur baby to run around! We saw so much wildlife which was really exciting! The blackstone griddle was perfect for cooking breakfast and dinners! Plenty of towels to enjoy many soaks in the hot tub and enough for showering. I will absolutely rent here again as it is perfect! About a 25 minute trip to Mt. Airy which has all of your restaurant and grocery needs. thank you Balager for sharing such a incredible getaway! We cannot wait to return!

This home was lovely- in a very peaceful location, overlooking the Yadkin River. It had everything we needed and had plenty of room both inside and out. We enjoyed sitting on the screened porch for coffee in the morning, and wine and dinner in the evenings. The hot tub was perfect after a day of exploring the Yadkin Valley area. Communication was great with William. Would definitely recommend this home!

From the welcoming lanterns on the porch, to the blankets already situated in all the cozy chairs and rockers, to the robes ready for the hot tub, everything was ready to start relaxing from the moment of arriving. The wine, cold drinks, a variety of snacks, and candy dishes were the most abundant I’ve seen in all of my Airbnb experiences. There were friendly family dogs for canine company (as desired!). We could have stayed a week in order to fully enjoy all of the offerings. We really hope to get back - it really was perfect!

Beautiful property! We truly enjoyed our stay and everything the cabin had to offer. We especially loved all the games and outdoor activities. The cabin is stunning and immaculately maintained. The host was very friendly and welcoming. We had a wonderful experience!

Stayed at the A Frame for a birthday weekend getaway. Easy to find, comfortable beds and nice clean bathrooms, beautiful scenery, and lots of places to sit, which is important for a family of 5! We enjoyed sitting outside in the sunshine and lounging inside. We drove about 30 minutes to Westfield for a scenic, delicious birthday dinner at Big Creek Lodge Restaurant. Close by is Hanging Rock State Park and we hiked to the top and to the upper cascade falls. Then we enjoyed ice cream at the Front Porch Creamery. We stopped by Priddy’s General Store that’s been there for 100 years and chatted with the owner. We ate dinner at El Cabo, also nearby and delicious. Fire wood was provided for the fire pit, where we told stories and drank hot chocolate under the lights. On our way out of town, we drove to the top of Pilot Mountain and hiked a bit then stopped at Aunt Bea’s BBQ for lunch. Looking forward to coming back to explore more of this area of NC. Beautiful and peaceful cabin. Great outdoor spaces for relaxing. The cabin itself was super clean and well stocked if you are cooking in. Comfy beds and very dog friendly. Highly recommend!

Loved the , big house, big kitchen, going to the winery right there was really cool and seeing all the grape vines (although they were brown due to being winter of course) had a nice area for kids and dogs too play. Had a fire pit and they had a bunch of camping chairs to use which was cool. Kitchen stocked with almost all the cookware you’d need. Great sta for a great price

This was the perfect spot for my husband and I with our 11 year old to recharge between a couple days of hiking. Absolutely perfect location and exactly what we needed space wise. That bathroom is phenomenal for the size of the place and we hope to stay again sometime!

Instructions were clear and detailed, the house was clean and quaint, and Eric is super responsive. Great experience all around.

I had an amazing experience hosting my 50th birthday costume party with a Bridgerton theme at this wonderful venue. I only dealt with Meagan, and she was so sweet every time. She is extremely personable and easy to talk to, which made the entire planning process smooth and enjoyable. Needless to say, the location was the perfect backdrop for picture posing—its elegant decor and timeless ambiance elevated our celebration to a whole new level. We were transported straight into the Regency era, making it an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking to throw a themed party that truly impresses!

Wildcat Forest is the perfect place for two to stay for a weekend getaway! The little cabin is so quiet, cozy, peaceful and relaxing. It’s in a secluded, private location surrounded by beautiful woods. We were here in the fall and the colorful leaves were absolutely stunning. We will definitely visit again! My husband and I only live about 1.5hr away from it, and it provided the best mini getaway to celebrate our anniversary! Patricia is the perfect host and even helped make arrangements for another property we stayed at the next night “Hog Mtn Retreat” which was just as nice! Thank you for sharing your little slice of heaven with us!

Bob and Candy were awesome hosts! Quick to respond with any questions, and are very friendly. One of the best hosts we have ever encountered. The place is beautiful and recommended to other guests. They have equipped the place with anything you would need. Would definitely return. 10/10

This cabin is all you will ever need! A weekend of solace and solitude was met with perfection as soon as I entered the door. The cabin was superb. Very clean, comfy bed, warm lighting, rustic decor, and incredible views. The little touches made my experience so much better! Fresh flowers, coffee, snacks, and even cold drinks. Better than a hotel ever could do! The kitchen was well stocked. I was drawn to the beautiful oasis outdoors but fell in love with the whole experience. Hannah & Dennis made my stay feel so welcoming and safe. As a single woman solo traveler I couldn't ask for a better weekend getaway! Will definitely be back!!

Loved, loved, loved the place!! So peaceful and quiet! Beautiful surroundings! The tiny house and laundry were so cute and clean, just what we needed! Just right for 2 adults and for 1-2 children. Had a loft area that we did not attempt to climb because we’re older adults. Looks like it would be great for kids though. The price was so reasonable, actually surprised me! I could go for way more! I will definitely go there again!

The cabin was great. A little cluttered with knickknacks and no real good place to put bags and luggage, but overall very cozy and comfortable. The views from the front porch are nice and relaxing and the little town of Meadows of Dan is nice. You are not very secluded because there are other cabins all around, but very quiet. Saw deer everyday, so it is peaceful. Good wine and restaurants not far away. Would definitely stay here again.

The cabin is so secluded. At night we heard nothing but wildlife. It was so quiet we could hear the Mayo river even though it was a half mile away. Anytime I can get somewhere where there is next to no cell phone service, I am happy. It was a nice short walk to the rapids and my family spent most of the day there.

Love this little place hidden in the woods, away from the hustle and bustle. Quiet and comfy, perfect location to just BE. February weather being what it is, we spent most of our time indoors with a fire in the cozy woodstove. Our original plan was for me to spend days in town for an assignment but when it fell through, well, the change in plans was everything I didn't know I needed. Our communication was fabulous - very responsive and helpful with all of my questions.
