Our stay at this lakefront cabin was amazing! The peaceful setting and beautiful views made it the perfect spot to unwind. We especially loved having direct access to the lake—it was such a treat to go kayaking in the calm morning water and spend afternoons fishing. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The host was friendly and responsive, which made everything easy. If you're looking for a quiet retreat with great outdoor activities and stunning lake views, this place is a gem. We’re already looking forward to coming back. Only thing i would think might be an upgrade for this cabin would be if they can upgrade the insuite door. Overall, a lovely and memorable stay .

We had such an amazing escape here! We drove up and just said "WOW!". The views and jacuzzi take the cabin to the next level. The local wildlife make for such an adventure with the kids, and there is lots to do, despite being so remote. The kids loved playing pool and table tennis at the resort end. Susanne and Dave had everything in the house that we needed and provided the comforts and added extras that just made it all the more thoughtful. Come here prepared to cook all meals or drive into town and grab a meal, even the drive is nice. We loved clocking off from the world and just enjoying our time away from all the busy. Thanks so much for making our stay so memorable :)

The most memorable get away we have ever had. Adorable and comfortable cabin with the most spectacular views. Adults, teens and kids all loved our stay and didn't want to leave. From the moment you arrive and take in the beautiful surroundings you won’t want to leave. Our stay at The Lantern was an amazing experience to immerse yourself in nature, reconnect and reset.See kangaroos in the early mornings and enjoy beautiful fires at sunset up on the wilderness cocktail bar taking in the wonderful views and listening to the peaceful sounds of nature. Lovely peaceful haven, tucked away at the end of the road around a pretty dam. Cottages are well spaced, well equipped and the grounds lovely to stroll through with our dogs. We loved doing a BBQ breakfast on the terrace and dinner in the restaurant was very good also. We would return to stay here again. Wifi reception is not great, but the peace and quiet is the trade off.

I would highly recommend kylies artists cottage! absolutely beautiful, her sculptures and artworks were even more beautiful and incredible than I could've imagined. Great location, walking distance to town. Very comfy bed, great sleep! Definitely will be returning to this beautiful accommodation!

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful area! So peaceful and quiet. We loved our stay, perfect location to visit a few wineries with easy access to cook at home for some meals! Cute kangaroos come and visit in the morning and you can take a leisurely stroll to a delicious coffee and brekky just steps away!

Carol's site is very peaceful in the middle of nature. The DayDreamer - our accomodation - was the perfect set up for 2 families with many kids and 2 dogs! A lot of space outside to play as the campsites were not occupied during our stay ;) Very relaxing! Also plenty to do short drives away from 10 to 30 min (beach, horse ridding, treetops, even go karting near Newcastle!!) ; plenty to keep everyone busy. If your thing is eating / coffeeing out, there may be other better suited options but it was perfect for us! Thanks.

Was just like the photos (other than the bonus of some furniture updates). Postcard views and a lovely walking path which goes around the whole lake. Minutes to drive to local shops, restaurants and beaches. Simple and really lovely for a relaxing holiday.

The perfect base for our Hunter adventure. Location is right in the middle of wine country, with wineries in all directions. The cabin itself was well maintained and had everything we wanted and needed for a perfect stay. They also accommodated our dog which was a major selling point. The accommodation is owned by Harkham Estate, so a free wine tasting was included. The tasting was one of our favourites of the trip. The communication from booking to leaving was first class and always willing to assist where needed. Will definitely be back.

Peaceful and relaxing stay. Lovely property with horses and extremely well stocked guest house - with the best coffee machine we’ve ever had at an Airbnb! Our dog played so well with Nectar their golden retriever, and Elsa recommended an amazing dog walk spot at Strickland State Forest a short drive away.

What a wonderful weekend we had at Anita’s Surf Shack, exactly as described and expected. Loved the minimalist aesthetic, coastal style. Only the basics as described, which was fine for us. Located at the back of the main house, feels private as long as no one is in residence there of course! Great bathroom, small but loved the shower space. Bed and pillows comfy and the overhead fans a godsend on a hot weekend (as was the shack’s position under the shade trees). Lots of birdlife, soft green lawn and swinging in the hammock, the best. Very short walk one way to Bennetts Beach to enjoy our complimentary bubbles at sunset before the SLS for another cheeky bevvie. A short walk the other direction to the IGA and cafe next morning, nice coffees and avo smash. Dinner options available in Tea Gardens a short drive away, pizza at the Tea Gardens Hotel the stand out. A nice lunch spot over the water, The Boatshed, lovely service! A simple space for a couple’s laidback weekend. Thank you Anita!

Raea’s cabin was an ideal getaway for our family. The property is absolutely stunning—quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. Spotting a wombat walk past during dinner was a highlight of the stay. The cabin was cosy and comfortable, with everything we needed. Our two young boys had a great time roaming around and discovering the bushland. A great spot to unwind and enjoy the outdoors.

Great cabin in a farm setting. We enjoyed our stay at this accommodation. It’s was spotless, stylishly decorated and comfortable. Great bathroom with a good strong shower. The setting was idyllic, with wide open spaces and greenery, yet minutes from town. Hosts were wonderful! Very friendly, super responsive and flexible. It was a good value for money for 4 people. And while small, it had everything we needed. Thank you!

We stayed at Danielle’s for 14 nights using it as a base to visit family and the Central Coast. The location is beautifully quiet, off the road and very private. The cottage, a converted stable block, is rustic and authentic, well presented and beautifully clean. The beautifully appointed bathroom with a great shower, is situated in a separate building only a very short distance from the front door and a late night trip to the loo provides a wonderful view of the night sky. Danielle was a delightful host who was quick to respond to any questions and on hand to help. I would thoroughly recommend Danielle’s cottage to anyone wishing for a relaxing break away from it all.

As animal lovers, we absolutely enjoyed our stay in the cute cabin among the paddocks. It's got a big balcony where we had our breakfast in the morning, and since we were lucky, we also got to watch the horse riding lesson while having breakfast! It's just nice to be able to roam around and greet with Margrete's friendly dogs and horses. Margrete made us feel well taken cared for and we really appreciated that we were able to see how the horses were fed up close while having Margrete explain the process. Overall, a very friendly, relaxing and educational experience that ticks all our boxes for a weekend escape from our city rat race.

Our stay at Arinya over Christmas was absolutely delightful, the view and wallabies were the top attraction for us, the house is great, well equipped and clean, the resort’s pool, tennis court and pool table are well maintained and considering it was Christmas period we’d expect it crowded but for our surprise it was completely empty and quiet, we enjoyed every single moment. Would definitely go back again! Arinya is such a paradise to relax and unwind and Archana is a wonderful host, always prompt to help, special thanks to her!
