Directly over the road from The Entrance beach this humble but well-appointed two bedroom unit offers a view over the beach and the ocean. Relax as the sea breeze and sound of the surf are all at your doorstep. We have just added a 55 inch Smart TV and now have WiFi . (Log in details given when booked). HighTide is a purpose built apartment and is relatively new to the holiday rental market. The locals refer to our beach as Little Salamander Beach and because of the beautiful white sand, calm water, paperbark trees and amazing sunsets all year through, we are the envy of many people who continually return to our patch of paradise. The main residence, where owners live, is waterfront and is on one of the most sought after stretches of sandy beach.

Nelson Bay home on the beach!!

Rest, eat, sleep, repeat!! Enjoy the comfort of our renovated home. Perfect sleeping arrangements for 2 families or 1! The kids will be entertained with the beach at the front and park at the rear. Check in at 3pm and checkout at 11am. If there is no back to back bookings I may be able to accomodate earlier check in upon request. Everything in walking distance!

A great location and a great and peaceful house! Anna's place is outstanding with the view to the ocean and proximity to coffee places. To my surprise, the house had even toys, books and other amnities for little children. I would definitely recommend the place to my friends and relatives.

We had a lovely family long weekend here - an easy single level nicely furnished beach style house with massive private back yard surrounded by trees, beautiful covered outdoor living area. Loved listening to the birdlife. The private outdoor showers to rinse off after the beach were a highlight. Should have booked for longer. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful relaxing stay at Alice & Israel's place over the Easter weekend. Their home is clean, spacious & beautifully decorated with lots of homely touches. The outdoor terrace was ideal for catching the morning sun with a coffee & we really enjoyed the nearby coastal walk to Shelly beach. I would highly recommend this place if you are holidaying in the central coast!

We had an amazing stay! Perfect set up for groups of friends or two families like we were. We loved the extra touches like balled ice cubes and lots of extra bath and beach towels! Our kids loved the spa/pool and it was nice and warm which was a perfect activity for them even in the rain! This place is walking distance to the shops, marina and cafes/restaurants! Richard was an amazing host and communicated very fast with any questions we had about the spa! The set up is great and so relaxing! Nice to have three different areas to sit too and chill out with enough space to not be on top of your other guests! We had a great time and will be back!! Thank you!

Location of the accommodation is brilliant with beach one side and lake the other, the apartment was clean and cozy and it was a perfect place to call timeout. We had a lovely stay!

Absolutely beautiful accommodation in a perfect location. It’s like your own private beach oasis right on the doorstep of Blacksmiths Beach and Granny’s Pool. The outdoor dining area was our favourite place to sit and enjoy a quiet breakfast and relax for dinner in complete privacy. The amenities are modern and everything you need - we didn’t want to leave! Easily the best place to stay in Blacksmiths!

Lyn's place was lovely, it was in a great location with the ferry close to travel to Newcastle. The house was very tidy with great amenities, kitchen, BBQ & beds. Lyn offered us local information & was very accommodating with anything that we needed. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for something in this area.

The home was fantastic and was perfect for 3 couples to enjoy our weekend getaway. Mary Ann was a super host, very organised and easy to communicate with. The living area was large enough for some to watch TV while others sat at the table to chat. The outdoor area was perfect to view the sunset, or if too cold, to view from the comfort and warmth of the living room. The bedrooms were all a good size with comfortable beds & good quality linen. The main bathroom was enormous, with a decent size spa. All good quality cleaning products and equipment made the check out clean up quick and easy. An easy walk around the bay to the Deck for yummy take-a-way easy dinner and a Sunday brunch, made for the perfect get-a-way.
