Family-friendly vacation rentals in Stockholm archipelago

We stayed here during our time in Scandinavia and it was an absolute highlight of the trip. Ulrica was very friendly, warm, and welcoming, which was so lovely after a day of traveling. The space itself is gorgeous, peaceful, and private. Waking up to swans swimming just outside the window was a wonderful way to start the day. While staying here, my husband and I kept saying that we couldn’t believe where we were - it was all just so beautiful and idyllic. Highly recommend to anyone traveling to the Stockholm area & take advantage of the additional spa/wood-fired sauna offering! They were a treat to end the day with. Thank you, Ulrica for your hospitality and for sharing such a special place!! - Insight for anyone traveling without a car: the public transit was easy to use to and from Stockholm. The walk to the bus stop is a bit hilly so take that into consideration with luggage :) We did use an Uber once after a long day wandering in Stockholm and it was about 18€.

Beautiful secluded house, quiet and good connection by public transport

What a fantastic place! We enjoyed it very much. Beautiful nature with a camping feeling. The cottage is rather small but very nice. And our daughters really enjoyed the separate guest house. The large garden with all its magical places is wonderful. Alex is a great host, always responded quickly and solved any problems. He even prepared the whirlpool for us. And his dog Audrey is adorable. We can highly recommend this accommodation and hope to come back one day. Thank you Alex!

An absolutely beautiful house with a very great location. There were also more than enough play opportunities for the children. The family responded very quickly to messages and thus saved our vacation. Absolutely recommended. I'm sure we'll be back.

The house is cozy and peaceful, perfect for a getaway with the family. We came with our parents, our baby and our dog, everyone was super comfortable. Helene's help was super useful (transport to arrive, logistics with grocery, info to plan activities, etc). She replied very fast every time. The house is small with a good distribution to spend time together; rooms are small but comfortable, the bathroom is very clean and well equipped. Livingroom and kitchen are beautiful and roomy with lots of natural light, with nice and comfortable furnishing, it is overall a lovely space to spend the day doing all kind of activities. The kitchen is definitely the hart of the house; very well equipped, you can find all you need and more. The room's temperature are perfect and the fireplace makes it even better. The outdoor area is also super convenient and well maintained, perfect to spend time with nature. Our staying was a great experience and we would love to come back soon.

Three Aggressable Sejour Chez Gustav! Very nice cottage very well appointed, with a great view. We were able to enjoy the hot tub on beautiful nights, in a very quiet place… the dream!

We really enjoyed our stay: the house is very cozy as if you are staying at your friends’s place. We got lucky with some snow so kids enjoyed sledging down the road, and we enjoyed the sauna near the lake. It was a wonderful winter vacation, thanks Ola

Judith was reachable and we were allowed to use the large house instead of in the small stuga, as it was empty and the weather was a little worse. So we could sit comfortably in front of the fireplace and we didn't have to go outside to shower and go to the toilet. Great! Both the stuga and the large house were very neatly maintained and everything was present, clean sheets and towels, garden pillows. We loved it!

Nice host and beautiful surroundings through the interaction between human animals and nature ! Nicely arranged without electricity and water!

Our stay at Anna's was really very nice! We felt right at home and at ease, as we were warmly welcomed! Anna gave us some recommendations for the area and maps for orientation, so we found our way around very quickly! The cottage was super cozy and warm. Communication with Anna was also very friendly, accommodating and flexible. We would come back anytime! :)

Luxury to come to made beds and borrow towels. A cozy swimming area about 500 meters away. A lot and fun toys for kids. Yes, everything was great! We would love to come back :)

Janet's house is large, fully equipped with everything you need, with a beautiful garden and vegetable garden. Getting to the historical center is convenient both by car and by public transport. Communication with Janet was easy and instructions were precise. We recommend this pleasant accommodation to potential visitors to Stockholm.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this house in Sigtuna, and I couldn't be more impressed! The highlight of the property is the huge back deck, perfect for soaking up the sun and enjoying the serene surroundings. The large swimming pool adds to the charm, creating a perfect relaxation spot. Sigtuna itself is enchanting, with its quaint streets and rich history. The house embodies this charm, making it a delightful retreat. The peaceful location truly enhances the experience, allowing for a tranquil getaway. Great location and peaceful surroundings. The cottage was charming and found everything you need. The stay was crowned by a heated pool and sauna. My child and I had a great time.

We had an excellent stay at Daniel's house. The view is splendid, and it is very quiet. The only difference from the photos is that there isn't a large sandy beach, so there's no need to bring your children's sand toys ;-) However, there is a trampoline that is very popular. The nearby mini-golf is also great.

Very beautiful home, nice and tastefully decorated. The pool and garden are great for relaxation. The house is ideally located for discovering the region.( bus 2 min away, nearby train station,Stockholm 20 min by train) We didn't see Sara, but communication was easy and helpful. We enjoyed the drinks she put in the fridge for us. I highly recommend this house Thanks again Sara!!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Sofia & Fredrik’s place. The house was in pristine condition and beautifully decorated with a lot of attention to detail. There were flowers, tomatoes from the garden and even goodies for the kids (who felt at home straight away). Sofia and Fredrik are the most lovely hosts. Thank you!

Great house, location a bit far out of Stockholm but it was in a nice area

We were very happy and satisfied with the stay at your lovely and cozy house. We loved the combination of relaxation (on the terrace/garden with cozy staggered levels and beautiful planting, at and in the pool - especially our 2 13 year old children enjoyed it, reading books in one of the many cozy nooks that existed), different walks with discoveries in different terrain (blueberry picking in the rocks, walks in the forest/nature reserve with lakes and outdoor swimming), trips to Stockholm where we experienced just some of the exciting cultural offerings (Vasa Museum, boat ride in the city's canals, strolling in the Old State, etc..). As the only thing, we had a hard time fixing the internet TV, even though we were guided by Joachim. But it was summer and there was plenty to do and do, so we didn't miss it. We had a great time at Bjorn's place. We were a big group and the place had enough space for all of us. The location is amazing and both the hot-tub and the entertaining center were the most popular entertaining options. The host was always quick to answer our questions and solve our problems. We had a small issue with the heating system but it did not ruin our stay. We had lots of fun and it was perfect for our summer getaway.
