Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Stevens Point

Greg's cabin is the perfect retreat. The lake is beautiful, clear and great fishing. Greg is always responsive when you have a question, and a super nice honest host.

The house was secluded in a tree filled property in farm country— quiet, with deer coming to visit. It was very clean and comfortable—well appointed, but not so upscale that one can’t relax there. The kitchen is spacious and has what you need to cook a good meal. We really enjoyed our weekend there and plan to return next year for our conference.

This is such a great spot to stay for exploring downtown Waupaca with easy access to the lakes and hiking. Sarah was so welcoming and accommodating. From setting up the air mattress for us ahead of time, to proactively getting a few extra camp chairs for us to enjoy around the bonfire, the hospitality was incredible. We had everything we needed for a really wonderful weekend in Waupaca. Absolutely recommend staying here!

The location was great and easy to find! The space was clean and perfect for my family gathering, we couldn’t have asked for more. Amanda was a wonderful host and provided clear instructions off the bat!

Enjoyed a very relaxing weekend! Loved having a fire and watching the deer come out each evening! Home had everything we needed, including a well stocked kitchen....every pan & utensil you could ever need! We'll definitely be back!!

We were here for 3 nights during a golf trip for 4 people. The place was perfect for our needs. Would definitely come back.

All we could want in a BnB & more- very clean, quiet neighborhood, roomy with plenty of places to put our stuff away out of sight, comfy beds & furniture, sauna, hot tub, well-stocked kitchen, extra pillows & blankets & towels, tea kettle in addition to the coffee pots, and space in the cabinets. This is a place to truly kick back & just relax. The lake view was our favorite thing, and could be enjoyed right from the comfy couch- which was wonderful when the weather wasn’t cooperating. We really enjoyed watching the Great Blue Heron fishing in the shallows. Something we really appreciated was use of the attached garage. It rained a number of days while we were there, including while we were unpacking our car, and having use of the garage was great! This is a place that gets earmarked in hopes of a return trip.

We stayed at Sherry’s place when shooting in the high school trap tournament to save us drive time in the morning. It was convenient in that it is a 20 minute drive. It was beautiful area and most importantly clean.

A quaint little cabin just a 2 min walk to the lakefront and you can see the sunset over the lake from the front porch! Located inside a private campground and nestled all the way in the back so it’s wonderfully private, but also only a short drive to stores/restaurants/bars !

We were in Wausau for a baseball tournament and wanted a private place for the kids to rest before the tournament the next morning. From booking to arriving everything was smooth and easy. I had to ask the day before to bring our grandson because when we booked it was only the 3 of us. There was no problem with the adjustment. We enjoyed the yard while there and made pizza over the fire. They had a grate to cook on over the fire as well as roasting sticks for hot dogs, s’mores and more. Although our time at the site was short we enjoyed ourselves.

It is a great and peaceful place with good backyard. Host is super responsive and always there to help you out.

Thank you for sharing your property for our family. We had a nice weekend even though the rain came. It was nice to keep our boat there and walk on the dock and relax and go out on our boat and enjoy the fish. thanks again

The Kaboose is really cool, very well remodeled time period wise. the location is steps away from the main road and the driveway, absolutely no privacy. communication with the host was frustrating. I had three communications..one she got back a day later and two she never responded to..both said she read my messages. can't bring your own firewood in, yet none available to us. so we went to kwik trip and got some because she ignored 2 of my messages about that. cool caboose, but wouldn't stay again, campground run down and a loud screaming family present that by reading other reviews looks as though they live there.

Second time staying here! Great place for star gazing and relaxing. Annie takes care of her guests.and ensures you have a great stay.

A friend and I stayed here for about a week to attend an event in town. Steve, our host, was super flexible with our arrival time and very accommodating. He even went out of his way to supply us with an iron and board last minute, and we really appreciated that! Thank you Steve for having us!

Remote and quiet. I thought we were by a lake but it is removed from the water. Nicely set up with fire-pit and comfortable outdoor seating. accommodations are comfy and cozy.

Perfect relaxing place, quiet and neat

Diane’s “Barn in the Woods” lodge was an amazing space. From the outdoor amenities and beautiful woods to the pleasantly unique and intricate decor inside, I believe this was the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in :) Sadly, our trip to Wisconsin was of an urgent nature due to a death in the family so we did not get to thoroughly enjoy everything this lodge offered. Overall, I, along with my husband and mother-in-law, give this space 5+ stars.

We had a wonderful stay! We loved all of the notes around the house to make sure we knew where everything was and how to work things. It was a BEAUTIFUL location! My son loved being able to walk out and fish off the doc whenever he wanted. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Such a peaceful and wonderful place. We so enjoyed our time! A really amazing cabin stocked with everything we needed and more. The wood burning stove, tons of firewood, an outside grill over the fire and let me just say it was so quiet all we heard were the critters in the forest surrounding us! Loved staying here and would love to visit again in the future. The location is absolutely stunning and just what we needed for our little weekend get away. Scott was a great host and if we needed anything he was only a message away. Love that it’s out in the country and so safe!

Amazing place to stay mainly if you are looking to relax, be cozy, and comfortable. Perfect for a couples getaway to disconnect from the everyday busy life. Cabin was fully stocked with supplies, very clean and organized, and lots of amenities. We had a home away from home feeling. Hosts are very responsive, friendly, and courteous. This cabin met beyond our expectations. Definitely looking to be back here soon.

The cabin was exactly the kind of peaceful break we were looking for. We try to include our dogs on road trips (especially as they’re getting older😭), so we were grateful to find a dog-friendly spot! We really appreciated how clean the cabin was, from the crisp bed linens to the bleach bucket for sanitizing dishes before use. We spent our time soaking in the sounds of nature, reading, relaxing by the bonfire, and watching movies. The dogs found their zen sunbathing on the deck. You will not regret booking this place! It was everything you could possibly need for a home away from home in a GORGEOUS place. The beautiful lake was visible from the sunroom and there were so many games and amenities that made it feel like home. It was very clean and had lots of water toys to play with as well. The hot tub was a nice bonus as well. We absolutely loved disconnecting here and appreciated all the little touches like blankets in every corner and firewood and kitchen essentials. We would definitely stay again!

This was the perfect escape. It was incredibly quiet and so relaxing. The beds were very comfortable, everything was very clean with amenities that went above and beyond expectations. The decor was beautiful and so inviting. The little details that were thought of and incorporated around the property were great. It was like having an Easter egg hunt for Sasquatches. It was wonderful to have the lake so close. When we took out the kayaks and paddle boat we had the entire lake to ourselves. It was wonderful hearing the sounds of nature sitting around fire pit, putting our phones down and enjoying meaningful family time. We had a hard time leaving this little slice of heaven!
