Everything was as required . Place was at a nice , neat / clean and at peaceful location . Maryanne was helpful and provided lots of local inputs on the places to visit to near by . This helped us a lot . We really had a good time .

If you're looking for a break away from busy life, this is a great option. Very friendly helpful host, very neat place, well equipped chalet and well located within nature among bushveld animals. Also very nice boma braai area. Noleene went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable and special. Highly recommended!

valda created an Italian getaway in the African bush, really cool. The apartment is small but very cosy. It is the perfect stop when traveling to Kruger Park or Johannesburg. Valda will give you a very warm welcome. Thanks Valda!

Magdalena and her husband are fantastic hosts. The house is a farmhouse, but with lots of amenities. We felt safe and Rajendra care of. They even drove 1.5 hours from their own house when they found out that there was unexpected load shedding to bring us their generator. They are super stars. Dankie.

Gerda was an incredible host! It was truly a wonderful experience staying there. They provided food for the animals and made sure we were well taken care of. The place is fully equipped with everything you might need, just bring your own groceries. We had an amazing time making pizza and relaxing around the boma fire. And the pool? Absolutely dreamy! We’ll definitely be coming back.

Valda was the perfect host. On our second night we caught the flu and weren't up for the 45 minute drive to the nearest pharmacy. Valda had everything we needed and was so accommodating. The treehouse cottage is absolutely stunning, functional & has beautiful surroundings. Situated in a private bush estate, there was a golf course, a dam & the luxury of seeing various animals roaming around, including nyala and zebras. 10/10 stay. The home is off the grid and uses gas & solar. The battery does go out in the middle of the night, but it's only for about 3-4 hours (between 2am & 6am), and is running as soon as the sun is up. Would definitely stay with Valda again!!

Valda’s place is beautiful and her attention to detail is incredible. Despite that, the real star is Valda herself! Nothing was a problem, and she went to every length to ensure we had as enjoyable and comfortable a stay as possible. We can’t recommend highly enough

The stay at Valda's surpassed all our expectations by far. The best guesthouse stay we have had in RSA. Valda went out of her way to return our forgotten crate to us in Nelspruit at no cost. The facilities are just the best you could hope for anywhere. The decorations in the facilities are mind boggling. Absolute pristine setting in the bush and very quiet and private. Excellent bushveld birding on the estate. I managed to easily spot at least 50+ bird species within an easy 1 hour walk on the estate. Well laid out walking paths in the adjoining nature area. Plan for at least more than a 1 night stay. Valda and Herman are excellent hosts!
