We get our unique name because we are located near the Jimmerson Lake Dam. Nestled in Nevada Mills. THIS IS NOT A LAKESIDE PROPERTY. We do NOT have a private boat slip. However, the public ramp is only one mile away! If you bring your own boat, the private parking area will accommodate it. The lake house is 30 ft. from the second basin of Crooked Lake. Crooked Lake offers great fishing! 2 adult Viper kayaks are available for use at the waterfront. Loved the location - right in the lake, great lawn for games, fire pit with great view of stars, friendly neighbors, dock for our boat, little walk in beach. The house is older but that’s part of the charm. Watched the sunrise from balcony off one of the bedrooms. Host responded instantly when I had questions. We can’t wait for next year!

Great location and home. We enjoyed the direct access to water, the fire pit, and walkable to a nearby state park for a scenic nature walk. Home had a great number of rooms, beds and bathrooms. There was a large dining table for 8 people with large bay window looking out on the water.

Lake Life Vacations on James!

We were familiar with the area since our parents had lived two doors down. When we checked in, we had the pleasure of meeting the homeowner and made us feel welcomed as he was leaving. He let us know that that there were mats off of the pier, which made swimming there more pleasurable so your feet didn't directly touch the muck on the bottom of the lake. The home was a great space since it had plenty of room for our family. We had an awesome time enjoying time with our kids and grandchild on Lake James. While the primary bedroom had a separate unit and fan to compensate, the only caution I would have is that HVAC unit for the main level was not adequate for the much hotter weather or when cooking in the kitchen.

The multi-level home is positioned beside a serene body of water, showcasing a large, paved driveway that accommodates parking. The gray facade features numerous windows, allowing natural light to fill the interior. A grassy area extends in front of the house, enhancing the outdoor space.

The house is very large, we were a small group of 6 working in the area. We could all hang out together or get lost in some part of the house and have quiet time to ourselves. Location is very nice. House does however have a lot of stairs. Keep that in mind. Seems like no matter what you wanna do you have to go up or down stairs haha. But I would stay there again

Ash’s place was great! She was helpful and responsive when we needed assistance. Willing to go out of her way for us during our stay. Would recommend.

Diane’s place was beautiful. Everything was clean and comfortable. I definitely recommend staying here - the pictures do not do it justice. The lake right outside the house is beautiful and she provides kayaks. We’ll definitely be returning!

we stayed here for my sisters wedding in Hamilton, they were dog friendly which was a HUGE factor we needed. The place was absolutely beautiful, so much so we talked about taking another trip here when we can actually enjoy being on the lake. Michele’s responses were very quick, super friendly and informative!
