Pure rural idyll. Waking up to the sound of birdsong – hiking right from the front door. And all this just 45 minutes from the gates of Cologne. The entire apartment underwent a complete energy-efficiency renovation at the end of 2025; the bathroom is new. Tip: From here, the Cologne Exhibition Center is on the “right” side of the Rhine. Travel time to the fairgrounds (Messe München): approximately 40 minutes. Good to know: Our cozy half-timbered house is 200 years old, so the ceiling height is correspondingly low at two meters. Part of the garden is enclosed.

Urlaub im kleinen Rosengarten. Erholung in einem oberbergischen Dörflein finden. Die Natur genießen und die Seele baumeln lassen. Der zu einem Tiny Haus umgebaute Bauwagen befindet sich am Rande eines naturnahen Gartens, der im Jahreslauf mit allerlei Blumen erfreut. Am Morgen die Vögel singen hören, im Mai den Rosenduft der unzähligen Rosen genießen. Der Bauwagen verfügt über alles, was man für einen entspannten Urlaub braucht. Ein Highlight ist die Außendusche mit Glasdach, Heizung.

In the same building we run an art gallery that can be visited.

Private access & parking available. Every 30 minutes S-Bahn connection to Cologne (1 hour to the Koelnmesse).

Here you can stay in a small detached house with 1000 sqm fenced property and distant views over the Ober-Bergisches Land. The cottage is furnished in vintage style and has a fireplace in addition to electric heating. A kitchen newly built in 2022 with fridge, dishwasher, induction, oven, and everything else you might need, outdoor grill, covered terrace. Towels and bowls are available for dogs. Hiking from the house is possible for hours.

The over 700 year old castle Haus Bamenohl is hidden behind old trees in the middle of an idyllic park in the heart of the Sauerland hills. As guest of the Vicounts of Plettenberg, who have been living here since 1433, you can relax for some quiet days alone, spend a romantic weekend for two at the fireplace or take a family outing. Whether it's hiking in the wonderful nature, cycling, sailing, golfing, skiing - Bamenohl is worth a visit.

Our house is on the edge of the village, surrounded by old trees with a large garden. It is only 45 minutes away from Cologne. It offers enchanting, stylishly furnished rooms, wonderful niches and retreats. You can linger and relax in the garden and in the forest. We are surrounded by wonderful nature and enchanting villages. Our house is also ideal for day workshops and offsite meetings. Projector, screen and flipchart are available.
