Two kilometers away is the village of Nieuwleusen, which has a bakery, a supermarket, and eateries. The Hanseatic city of Zwolle is 10 km away. Cycling in the Staphorsterbos forest, which has a natural swimming pond, is highly recommended.

Located at De Vossenburcht family campground, which offers dining options, playgrounds, and an outdoor swimming pool. Enjoy walking through the woods right next to the campground, or explore the nature-rich surroundings of the Reestervallei. The beds are already made on arrival. Enjoy a late check-out on your departure day, as you can check out until 2:00 p.m.

Het is dichtbij prachtige dorpjes zoals Giethoorn, Blokzijl, Staphorst, Meppel en ook de stad Zwolle. Natuurgebieden als de Weerribben, De Wieden, Dwingelderveld zijn goed te bereiken. Festina Lente is een compleet, comfortabel appartement met eigen ingang, woonkamer, keuken, badkamer, slaapkamer met 2 bedden privé terras en parkeerplaats.
