My family and I had the most wonderful time. The home was clean and very comfy. There are so many things to do there on the island and surrounding areas. The locals on the island are so warm hearted and helpful. The view is priceless. I found myself just wanting to look out the windows. Can’t say enough about the beautiful water. Husband had a guided fishing tour and fell in love with this lake. Wished it wasn’t so cold, is a perfect place to consider retiring to. Thank you again Alice for all of your help. This place was exactly what I needed—quiet, cozy, and right on the water. The private dock was perfect for relaxing mornings, and the house had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Super close to Detroit but still far enough to actually feel like a retreat. Loved the fireplaces, the game room (air hockey and foosball were clutch), and the full kitchen made it easy to cook when I didn’t feel like going out. Pet-friendly too, which was a huge bonus. Chelsea was an amazing and mindful host—thoughtful, responsive, and clearly cares about the guest experience. Everything was clean, well-stocked, and just felt easy. Would absolutely stay here again.

We were five friends returning to the area where we grew up. This was a great spot to gather and enjoy a reunion by the waters that we grew up on. There is plenty of room and comfortable amenities for relaxing. David is a wonderful host; very responsive and concerned about meeting his guest's needs. Eating, shopping and walking areas are nearby. Would definitely recommend and enjoy returning in the future.

We enjoyed our time at Charlie's on the Canal. Everything was clean and spacious and very easy to live in comfortably for our long weekend. Our hosts were easy to work with. The highlight was the location on Lake St Clair. It was perfect and convenient for us to dock our boat. I would highly recommend.

I visited to downtown Detroit and I heard Detroit is not safe at night so I decided to stay at Port Huron. This place is very nice, walkable to see river and it's close to lake huron. Host replied very quickly so very helpful. When I visit Detroit or Michigan again, I definitely stay again.

I had a super comfortable stay (enough and more space for a single individual)! Also, both Rajesh and Eric were extremely responsive. The kitchen and bathroom were squeaky clean. The icing on the cake was finding an Edgar Allen Poe themed cafe (The Raven Cafe, on Military/ Main Street) walking distance from the place! :-)

Excellent place, very comfortable and good stay

What an adorable little airbnb! It was perfect for our group to stay. The decor is darling and it is such a cozy space. The only downside was the cheap, uncomfortable mattresses. For the price we made do with that inconvenience. The neighborhood is also quaint and perfect for a morning or evening walk.

Great stay, perfect spot to have quick access to the lake if you brought a boat. House was clean and had all the amenities you could ask for. We had a great time, and will be making this our go to place for our annual trip.

Have stayed here 3 times. Great location, nice neighborhood. Simple, beautiful little home. Highly recommend.

Wonderful place to stay! Lots of couches and open space for family to hang out and catch up in a comfortable homey setting. Atheer was a great host, he checked in with us just after arrival to make sure all was satisfactory. Loved that, not many hosts do that!

Tom and Erica's riverhouse is like a home away from home. Everything you need to unwind and just relax. Great view and peaceful surroundings. Looking forward to staying there again.

I liked the room a lot. The chalet decore makes you feel like you are in Northern Michigan. The neighborhood is a nice middle class area and right off the main road to Port Huron. It's quiet location no issues. The city needs to fix the road adjacent to the property. I am sure that in the summer the potholes will be filled, but the road needs to be replaced. Great customer service. I felt that the price was fair.

This is a very clean and well kept place. We stayed here while our home was undergoing repair from a tree falling through it. Carrie was kind enough to bend the rules to allow our child and cat to stay. She also continued to extend our stay for several months which gave us security during a difficult time. Prior to this we stayed at hotels. This was certainly a much better experience than staying in a hotel. It was much, much cleaner and obviously had a lot more space.
