Come stay with us! You will have the entire first floor to yourself but we will be right upstairs if you should need us! Access to tree lined back yard with fire pit. This lovely 3rd floor private apartment is in an 1883 Victorian Mansion in Blooming Grove, NY for 1 - 6 people. It is beautifully furnished, has luxurious beds, so let us know if you need one, two or three bedrooms! The apartment has a private entrance, a claw foot tub, French door shower, and a kitchenette with sunny breakfast nook. It's freshly renovated and spacious. You will have to take 2 staircases. Our land has a nice view of a field of wildflowers, and our neighbor has cows.

This stay was magical! I arrived on Friday night during Katy’s (and Russ) weekly dancing social. They took the time to welcome me in their home even though they were pretty busy. They offered great local recommendations for hiking and I really enjoyed our conversations. The bed was really comfy and the room smelled so nice. Loved the sunroom with the kitties and birds. Would definitely stay there again!

Very cozy, clean room with a mini-fridge and filtered water. They just put a new memory foam mattress on the bed, which was very comfortable. An artistically decorated and very cozy place in which I immediately felt at home. Nadja was a gracious host and so interesting that I would have liked to get to know her better. The room and the bathroom were small (no place to fit my vanity bag), but I didn‘t mind, as Nadja let me hang out in other areas of her house. I loved sitting on the front stoop to relax and knit while facing out onto what seemed a wilderness of trees and bushes. And on one morning I did in fact see the sun rise through the giant picture window of my room. The fact that there is almost constant bridge noise and that there wasn’t a railing for slightly handicapped me to hold on to while ascending the winding slate steps to the house, were quickly forgotten once Nadja and her charming house won me over.
