We were four adults and three children who rented Ditte and his family's house for a week. Silkeborg is a very nice starting point for Denmark's holiday with children. There is a short distance to many child-friendly attractions, such as Legoland, Randers Rainforest and Givskud Zoo. The house is very nice with a fantastic backyard with hens and trampoline. The garden is fully enclosed, so it is safe to unleash young children. There is also a very great playground right nearby (Tucked in). Ditte always responded quickly and gave great tips and instructions. We felt very welcome and highly recommend the house and host!

Our stay at Mette's place was amazing, we felt at home quickly as it was so well equipped for us and our son. Everything was as described in the listings/photos or even better. Location fine: quiet but still centrally located with plenty of activities and facilities nearby. If we get the opportunity we will go back with great pleasure!

I was there with my girlfriend over New Year's Eve and we had a lovely time. The beach and dunes were 2 minutes by foot and you could go for a nice walk along the dunes. Thanks to the oven, you could warm up well after being on the road for a long time and felt as good as at home. The only point that unfortunately bothered us a little, which could be changed for the future, would be to hang roller blinds or thick curtains on the upper floor so that it is dark at night and you are not kept awake by the street lamp. Of course, there would have been two single beds downstairs, but as a couple we preferred to sleep upstairs where it was also a little cooler than downstairs. But if we go back to Thyborøn, I would book Mads' place again.

It is a beautiful house on a spacious plot. Very nicely and very cozily furnished. You feel right at home. Plenty of beds and rooms, fully equipped practical kitchen. Truly a gem! Frederic and Christina are great hosts, respond quickly and kindly and give tips. Recommended!

Were there with a large group and the house and location have everything you need to have a great time. Near everything important can be found. It is also nice that the kitchen was equipped in such a way that you could cook pleasantly here for over 20 people. Pool, hot tub, and sauna were clean and all worked well.

The house itself can be looking old, but everything is in a very good condition. The pillows and blankets were amazing. The kitchen was huge, easy to use, so all in all perfect. It lies next to a farm, where they keep cows, so the occasional animal smell could be a bit disappointing for some people (although I didn't mind it). It was easy to get access to the house. I would recommend it to others.

Great layout for beds and living area; nice finishes. Playground and soccer fields nearby, good for kids.

Everything is great, nice stay, especially with children. We'll be happy to come back next year.

Everything was very nice

The home is lovely and spacious, perfect for our family to enjoy a relaxing holiday. The location is wonderful, just a few minutes walk to the beaches and a pleasant walk to the aquarium and museums. (if you have children, there is also a great skatepark just down the street, perfect for scooters, skateboards and meeting other kids) We would definitely stay here again.

With our 4 children hospitably received (by cat Mille) in the wonderful house of Maria. Spacious, clean and in a quiet neighbourhood. From here we could walk to the supermarket and with our bike we explored Silkeborg and surroundings. As far as we are concerned, absolutely recommended/worth repeating.
