Earth house vacation rentals in Split-Dalmatia County

We had a great stay in Prapatnice. The place is secluded and very peaceful with magnificent views overlooking the mountains. Absolute calm. The traditional Dalmatian construction house is renovated with taste and modernity and has all the amenities described. It has lots of charm. The traditional dalmate oven that acts as a barbecue is very warm, set in the middle of an outdoor kitchen with mountain views. Possibility to eat vegetables from the vegetable garden. Special mention to the pool which is large with speakers for swimming in music. The nearby highway makes it easy to reach Split, Makarska or Dubrovnik. The hosts are very welcoming, available and warm. The change of scenery is absolute and tranquility is maximum, away from tourist crowds. Thanks again Helena for your very friendly welcome. We recommend your home without a second thought and will keep a great memory of it.

We stayed in the beautiful stone house for 6 days in September and it was just fantastic! The small house impressed us with its authentic charm, and the view of the sea was simply breathtaking – waking up every morning and looking directly at the sparkling water was a highlight. The house is lovingly decorated, very clean and offers everything you need for a relaxing vacation. Roman and Eva were friendly and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We recommend this place to anyone looking for peace and quiet in an idyllic setting. We will be happy to come back!

We spent a week at Marija's place. Arrived, we were very nicely greeted by her personally and she showed us everything and gave us good tips about the region! Very very sweet! For us, the heart of the property was clearly the gardens with the views and direct access to the sea. These extend over several levels and everywhere there are lovingly furnished places to linger. Simply fantastic! It just looks even better than in the photos. We actually only used the apartment for sleeping. The location and views are breathtaking. We had a rental car and were able to explore the whole island. A small garden oasis to relax and enjoy!

Our stay at this Airbnb was absolutely fantastic! The place was incredibly beautiful, equipped with top-notch amenities, and everything worked perfectly. The hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this place to anyone!

Before and his family were very warm to us. We arrived late at night and were lovingly welcomed and accompanied to the mill despite the time. The restaurants were already closed, whereupon Andrea, the daughter, provided us with homemade food. In addition to this attention, we also got homemade bread and ice cream over the days. Thank you! The place is definitely something very special and also very clean! Big people should bend down in the bathroom, as the spiral staircase runs above it, but that gives the property a unique charm. The family also lives on the grounds in the summer months, which made communication easier for us. But also digital the communication went wonderfully. We got a lot of helpful info about our stay. Thank you for the funny conversations, the very good ice cream and for your hospitality.

Me and my friend group stayed at Teo's and it was better than what we could have hoped for. The location is a perfect amount of socialization and peaceful nothingness. The house is very big and well kept, big rooms and cozy places to chill. But the prettiest part is the private beach that comes with the house. All in all we had an amazing time and highly recommend this house for your next vacation. Since we are young people and quite loud, we could be as loud as possible since the first Neighbours were 500m away. Teo is a great host, but he wasnt there at the time so his mother kindly welcomed us as well. Really wanted to make everything possible for us, what ever we needed, even offered tht she drives our trash to the bin. So we were all very pleased with the hosts mother and the place and would definitely return.

Absolutely amazing hosts and amazing accommodations, super clean and quaint place. renting scooters to get around was a game changer, bring snacks for the kitties :) taxi recommendation from host was easy to call up to get for nights out. you’re the only residents on the hill so enjoyed the privacy yet easily accessibility to Hvar and Milna via 5-10min scooter ride. Literally cannot say more about how awesome this place / experience was!!!! Wish we could include pictures of the view from the living room because it was breathe-taking. Would ONLY stay here when we return :) a few steps to climb and probably not recommended for older folks who can’t haul luggage up but totally worth it for the view, the house, and the amazing hosts if you’re able. We’ll be back next time!

Davor and Christine are wonderful hosts. They made us feel at home, like family friends. Davor has a profound knowledge of the island, its history, the most pleasant places and provided us with many useful tips, he also lent me a book so I could get better information. He is also an excellent chef and the cuisine is truly exquisite. Simple, healthy and zero km ingredients! Christine bakes delicious bread herself and cooks delicious cakes. A particular commendation to Bičevo, a small island but truly full of wonderful ravines. And also Salbunara, a small paradise nestled among the rocks. A bay with crystal clear water and myriads of fish. The cottages are all well placed in the middle of nature, with attention to every detail and equipped with everything you need. The right place to stay connected, in the presence and savor what nature offers us and which we too often forget about. Highly recommended!

We were at the place for the second time. This time the price was significantly higher and unfortunately our expectations were not quite met during this stay and we were a little disappointed. It looks a little like when the house has been lovingly renovated and furnished, but no one wants to take care of it anymore. It's worn. For example, the kitchen was not properly cleaned and there was still dirt around. The fridge door and seals are very dirty. The kitchen shop is also cut off. The bed squeaks a lot. The joints in the shower are very strong and the ventilation is missing. There is no dishwasher, so it has to be washed by hand, but only with cold water, which suffers hygiene. All in all, however, the stay was relaxing. However, the location (right on the sea) makes up for this. There were no problems at check out and the hostess was free to decide when we left :)
