Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Spencer County

We stayed here recently during a bourbon tasting trip. The house was great, check in was easy and the location is convenient to everything in town.

We loved staying here! Great location walkable to lots of shops, restaurants, and distilleries. Made the perfect home base for our trip. The home was clean and comfortable and the hosts made everything so easy and seamless. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

The place was lovely and wonderfully centrally located. They were incredibly responsive and gave amazing check in instructions. The home while beautiful did have an interesting layout with the bedrooms. We would absolutely stay here again.

This was a wonderful place to stay! The house was clean and fully stocked with the things we would need. The hot tub was a great bonus, and very clean. The host was super helpful and responded quickly. I would highly recommend staying here if you need a place to stay close to Louisville or just a spot to getaway and hangout.

Jason’s place was just as described, immaculately clean, and homey. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. Beds were comfortable.

Great place for large groups. The 2 house setup allowed for loud kids in 1 space, and sleeping babies in a separate space, which was perfect for our group. Linens are soft, and beds are comfortable. The game rooms and accessories are a great bonus to have.

I’ve stayed here multiple times over the past 5 years, it’s a great space and Tyler is a top notch host. The backyard sauna is always a welcome treat at the end of the day. Definitely recommend

This was such a good experience! We were in town to visit our son who attends college in Louisville. We talked to Anne about having our son and a few of his friends over to the house and she was SO enthusiastic and helpful as we made our plans. The house was GORGEOUS - beautifully decorated and other than the clothes we needed to wear each day, we barely needed anything else! Anne had a wide assortment of shower gels, shampoos, conditioners, lotions, etc. available so it immediately felt like home. Something that I absolutely loved was all of the artwork. It felt like each time I walked in a room I discovered another drawing, painting, or figurine that I hadn't noticed before. Some of it was quirky, some fun, some lovely, and it all worked together to create this beautiful energy for the entire living space.

The cottage was very clean, very classy and the view was beautiful!

We had a wonderful stay. Home is very clean and well organized. Furniture was comfortable, decorated nicely. Supplied with the essentials and appreciated the Keurig and pods that were supplied. Definitely nothing to complain about. We will be back in the fall. Thanks for sharing your lovely cottage.

This was the perfect place for the Thanksgiving holiday, fully decorated for Christmas. The pictures matched the actual house. We wanted a quiet location and mission accomplished! The house was in a quiet cul-de-sac, we loved it. We appreciated Suzanne's communication. Thank you for a great stay!

Taylorsville is the central location to all Bourbon Trail towns. This lake community is quiet, beautiful and very peaceful to retire to each evening. Suzanne was a great host. Always responded quickly to our questions and made our stay as smooth as possible. The cottage was just as pictured, so no surprises there. A king suite, a queen suite and a third bedroom with a hall bath next door provided more than enough room for everyone to get ready at the same time; no fighting for bathroom space!

Great place

Plumbing issues but not hard to deal with. We just turned the water on and off. It was clean so not too bothersome. The house is so cute and has everything you need for a getaway with no worries. Bring some food and you’re good. We didn’t find lake access in walking distance from the homes and the ramp was closed. Good thing we had the hot tub!

Kim helped me get reservations set up for my parents anniversary, for the second year in a row. She is extremely kind and helpful, and my parents loved her place and the area so much they went back! Very clean and nice place, plenty of extra amenities, beautiful views of the lake and surrounding area and wildlife, good restaurants within driving distance, and plenty of privacy and a feeling of safety and calm! Thank you again Kim from all of us, especially my very happy parents!

Very good stay! The property was perfect for my friends and I. Rachel went above and beyond as a host, providing great communication. Would definitely recommended staying here!

We had a wonderful time staying at Jared’s cottage! Felt right at home! There was an issue with the hot tub but he had someone come out right then and there to take care of the issue. Very responsive and flexible!

i pick this specific cabin on this resort every time i make the trip down to KY and its worth it every time! I'll most definitely be staying here in the future!

We have stayed in this resort on several occasions. This was our first with Matt. The house was just as described with several amenities. Feel free to look at my profile to see how I’ve commented about other hosts. Matt set the bar to an extreme level. We were there during the storms/rain in the area. Matt promptly replied to every text within minutes showing a true care and concern for our safety. Highly recommend this house for your next stay! Kudos to Matt
