We crossed this summit in '99. Its magnificence & energy kept our family planted here. Two decades later, we open this one-of-a-kind experience—the Jägerhaus—to the world. Views run deep over hundreds of acres of the Black Hills under big skies. We invite you to explore. The hot tub shares these views, and we keep the water crystal clear. This house is a comfy, cozy, 2 bedroom, 1 bath house built in the early 1900's and recently updated. It is in the heart of the Black Hills, minutes from Deadwood. It is close to skiing and snowmobiling in the winter; hiking, sightseeing and fishing in the summer. The deck overlooking Lead offers a space in the sun or a covered portion for shade. Four person hot tub and fireplace makes the end of day so relaxing! Be aware, there are 32 stairs from street to house. Trailer parking available.

Downtown Spearfish and Spearfish Creek are within walking distance to enjoy the bike path and great eateries. The bedroom features a comfortable king size bed, complete with a memory foam mattress, and walks out to the front porch. Our favorite thing about our cottage is relaxing on the porch swing with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine.
