Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Southwest Rural District

We had a great stay - two adults and two teenage girls. Very spacious! Close to many beautiful attractions. Would definitely stay here again! Cozy old home. We were very close to the ferry to Deer Island and went whale watching from there. Also a short drive to St George and a little further to St Andrew’s. Lovely part of the province! Thanks!

The house was better than what it looked on the photos. It’s the best location on White Head since it is beside a very nice sandy beach. There’s another even more beautiful sand beach within 20 minutes walk (not accessible by road) where we spent a lot of time. The house is fully equipped and we liked the fact that it was still full of the presence of the family that inhabited it. It felt warm and comfortable. It’s obvious that the owner is working on the place to make it even better. There are new washer/dryer, new windows and porch, etc. We had wonderful weather and we were always amazed by the coming in and out of the foggy clouds on the island. The landscape was very interesting to watch, with birds and seals, rocks, shells and urchins. Vaneessa was always available for any questions or help.

David & Heather’s place was excellent for our family gathering. The house is very clean and well appointed. Location was very close to town, an easy walk away. Highly recommend.

Wonderful stay at Nancy’s lake house. Beds were comfortable, place was clean and had everything we needed. Lovely back deck facing the lake made for a peaceful retreat. Nancy was quick and proactive in communication. Would recommend this to others.

The house is in a great location - you can walk to restaurants, beaches, hiking trails and gift shops! There is tons to do. We felt right at home and it was very clean. We had everything we needed and more for our stay.

Beautiful location, beautiful turn of the century home, exactly (if not better, than advertised). Grounds are massive, directly on the ocean. House is charming with tons of space and anything you might need is available. We asked about a bbq and there was one waiting for us upon arrival. Stephanie left us a collection of local food and drink, very thoughtful. The house was full of thoughtful touches, bedding was high quality and we wanted for nothing. We would stay here again, thank you for the wonderful experience.

The location is peaceful, and Deer Island is absolutely beautiful. Tanya was a fantastic host, always responsive and very caring, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Perfect space for an unplugged getaway. Location is superb. The views from the house are better than expected. Very private. It had everything we needed for our stay. The check in and check out was straightforward and the welcome binder had great local suggestions for hikes and food. We had a rainy day for one day and watched movies on dvd that were there and played games that were provided. We would be back 100% Thank you for sharing your home with us

We loved our time at the Artists Cabin! It was very private with a great beach and spectacular views. Krista and Jordy were very communicative and responded quickly to all our questions. We hope to return soon!

The place was just as described, and Amanda and Jay are super responsive and helpful. The bunkie is cozy and small so make sure to not pack too much. Have had a ton of fun exploring the area, kayaking in the bay, or just reading next to a fire.

We wouldn't have been more impressed and happy with our stay. Clear, concise directions and such a beautiful spot. Instantly felt at home. Interior designed beautifully, the view from the deck was second to none and we didn't want to leave! We'd love to go again in the summer!
