Vacation rentals with lake access in Southwest Rural District

Excellent location. Excellent cabin for our large party, including two small children. Bottled Water was provided so that was a nice touch. They should share photos of the little beach - it’s a wonderful surprise! Sandy and great for kids. Warm water. Great yard. Lots of space for everyone to spread out and enjoy. Highly recommend.

Kelley was pleasure to deal with, and very responsive. The property was as described, very scenic and comfortable with everything we needed. We were there to celebrate a family birthday and there was plenty of room for 10 of us. Thank you for sharing your lovely property.

Tally’s Lake House is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, we were taken in by the serene beauty of the lake and the cozy charm of the home. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Waking up to the view of the water and enjoying morning coffee on the deck felt like a dream. You can tell a lot of care has gone into making this space welcoming. We left feeling refreshed and already planning our return. If you’re looking for a tranquil getaway in a truly beautiful setting, this is the place. Highly recommend!

Wonderful stay at Nancy’s lake house. Beds were comfortable, place was clean and had everything we needed. Lovely back deck facing the lake made for a peaceful retreat. Nancy was quick and proactive in communication. Would recommend this to others.

Had a wonderful weekend at Steven’s place in Saint Andrews’s! There were a couple of very minor issues when we arrived that were addressed promptly and professionally. Communication was fabulous. The home is in an awesome location and we could walk everywhere we wanted to go. I would highly recommend Steven and his beautiful home and hope to stay there in the future!

We had such a wonderful 3 night stay here! The cottage is so clean,nicely decorated,spacious and comfortable. The unit for ac/heat works is very fast and efficient. We loved all the sitting areas in and around the cottage,and really enjoyed sitting on the dock for morning coffee and evening cocktails and were lucky to see beautiful sunrises and even a gorgeous moonrise from there one night as well. The kayaks and canoe were such a bonus,and were so fun to tour around the beautiful lake on. It was so quiet and peaceful this time of year and we could even hear the loons on the lake. We also enjoyed exploring some of the trails,towns and restaurants nearby that Tammy suggested in her welcome book. Thank you for sharing your little piece of paradise with us,we can’t wait to return! 😊

Her comfortable cottage is done up with style (see the pictures), and with beautiful outdoors and lakefront dock to enjoy the serene views and sunsets. Her place is super clean and the bedding/towels, etc are top notch. She makes you feel at home with a warm welcome and offer to use the shared spaces. And if you are so inclined, it’s a pleasure to engage in conversation with her. I would love to stay at her place again if the opportunity arises. Highly recommended.

What a beautiful spot! My siblings and I had an amazing stay and highly recommend checking out this piece of paradise! To be back on Lake Utopia after 15 years has been so memorable! We are so fortunate to stay on the same lake that we grew up on and visited every summer. This incredible space was absolutely stunning. Thank you Catherine! We will definitely be back!

our second stay at this serene cottage and couldn't ask for a better staycation! Responsive and helpful host and easy to navigate instructions. Everything you could need for a peaceful and fun lake front property. perfect outdoor seating areas, deck, kayaks and SUP board, BBQ and so much more! Thank you Shannon for the perfect get away! Lisa’s house was an adventure back in time! She had maps on the wall that were 300 years old! Very impressive!! The captain’s house was beach front and so peaceful! We would sit on the large deck to have our morning coffees and watch the fishing boats! A hidden treasure to all! Lisa was very helpful and quick to reply to my questions! We enjoyed our stay with Lisa on Deer Island!!

Rachel was so kind and even had a card and treat waiting for us once we arrived. Everything was perfect! Beautiful scenery and right on the lake. There are only two things I would note. There isn’t a microwave just and the shower fluctuates from hot to cold randomly.

This will be my 3rd summer enjoying this breath taking spot and the island is just a beautiful bonus ! Each year I met new dark harbour residents and I see the old faces I met years before , kind folks who will spot and chat with ya. I left one of my hummingbird feeders because I have never seen so many and I actually had one land on my feeding rings when it was on my finger !!! (1cup sugar to 4cups water and bowl) The steps out back were such a great add on this year :) another year of memories made at this hidden gem on the best part of the island .

Superb hostess, very well appointed cottage from kitchen set up to bathroom. Excellent screened porch, great views of the lake from every window, loved the kayaks and canoes, firewood and fire ring, peanuts to feed the chipmunks- we can’t say enough about how lovely the cottage is and how much we enjoyed our stay!
