Madampe House

EleonoraRating, 5 stars28 months ago
We stayed at Madampe for Christmas, it was one of the best stays for all of us. The villa is prettier and bigger that in the pictures, pool was clean all the time, very beautiful trees and flowers. The hosts were amazing, very friendly and attentive, they also cooked us amazing dishes for a very good price. It was very peaceful and homey, the beach is literally 5 minute walk from villa and we saw the most amazing sunsets. One thing I would suggest is that if you’re planning to visit Madampe house make sure to bring mosquito repellant spray. Other than that everything was beyond our expectations!

Villa AMMA 2 bedroom w/ Jacuzzi

ArthurRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Our recent experience at this beautiful Airbnb villa in Ahangama was nothing short of fantastic! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a friendly welcome from Dushan and a luxurious, modern interior that instantly made us feel at home. The villa is spacious and elegantly decorated with attention to detail. The living and dining area creates a cozy atmosphere, perfect for enjoying meals and conversations together. But the absolute highlight was the jacuzzi on the terrace. After a long day of exploring and beach walking, it was heavenly to relax in the water. The location of the villa is also ideal. It’s close to the beach, local markets, and delicious restaurants. We loved exploring the area and discovering the local culture, but it was always nice to return to our cozy villa. Dushan was incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, we highly recommend this villa in Ahangama for anyone looking for a great stay!

River Homestay

JessRating, 5 stars14 months ago
This was a very last minute booking and Dahami and his family made us feel very welcome right from the start. The accomodation was exactly as shown in the photos if not better. You have the whole top floor which has 2 spacious double rooms both en suite, a living area, a balcony and a fridge! Everything was very clean and tidy. The location is about 100m from the main road and a 10 minute walk to the far eastern side of Weligama beach (this end is much quieter than the main section of Weligama beach which is about another 20 minute pleasant beach walk) Dahami made us a lovely breakfast for an additional charge. We wanted to stay an extra night but he was already booked so he arranged for us to stay with his neighbour, a perfect solution. We would happily stay again and highly recommend

Palm Shade Villa - Ahangama

MithulaaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We loved our stay in Ahangama thanks to Kamal’a beautiful home and hospitable family. The house is very comfortable and clean and very well equipped so we could cook some meals at home. The shared spaces are so nice to chill out with friends especially the living room and garden. Kamal was so attentive and kind and his wife made us some very tasty breakfasts. We would highly recommend staying here and would also love to return ourselves.

Garden Villa Ronnaduwa - Entire Villa with Pool

AilsaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
It is impossible to sum up just how welcome we were made to feel from the minute we arrived until departure. The villa was beautiful and the pool exquisite- large to relax and swim and spotlessly clean . The inside exactly as described. But the experience was made special due to the wonderful staff, Gihan and his team, who could not do more to make the stay so special. Beautiful breakfasts showcasing Sri Lankan specialities and home cooked food for dinner if wanted for a reasonable cost. He also drove willingly to nearby Hikkaduwa so able to eat out on as many nights as one wanted. However they also respected guests desire for privacy - a difficult balance to achieve. They went above and beyond anything we might have hoped for. The villa is a little remote but one knows that before booking and the tranquility more than made up for the inability to walk to restaurants. I would highly recommend and would return in a heartbeat.
The villa is set amidst lush green gardens, featuring a large stone wall for privacy. Two lounge chairs are positioned beside a shaded umbrella. The structure showcases a combination of large windows and wooden accents, providing a relaxed outdoor atmosphere.

Luxury 3BR beach villa

VenkoRating, 5 stars12 months ago
We had a fantastic 10-day break at this beautiful villa. The setting is amazing, overlooking the infinity of the Indian Ocean, with the calming sound of the crashing waves. The sea was too rough for a swim but the beach was perfect for a walk. The garden is lovely, the pool is a welcome escape from the heat and the house itself is spacious enough for everyone not to be in each other's way. We had so much fun during our stay - massages in the garden, wandering the neighbourhood and meeting the locals, visiting nearby beaches (Dickwella beach was our favourite, especially with young kids), safari, releasing baby turtles in the sea, boat trips, etc.... Last but certainly not least - the lovely staff. The hospitality offered by Suneetha, Ajith and Ari was truly special. They are all lovely and looked after us so well. Apart from the delicious food they prepared daily, they arranged our trips, transport, etc. It was hard to leave and tears were shed at the end. We'll be back, for sure!

White Villa Goyambokka

DavidRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We were warmly welcomed from the beginning and immediately felt comfortable. The villa is in a quiet environment, the green garden makes you feel completely to yourself, the atmosphere is super nice. You are equipped with everything you need (AC, Wifi, washing machine, etc.). If we needed anything, we were helped right away. Another helpful plus is the possibility to borrow a (very good) scooter to easily and flexibly reach the countless beautiful beaches, cafes, restaurants, etc. in the area. We were also lucky enough to try the delicious and extensive breakfast - absolutely recommended! If we were to visit Sri Lanka again, we would definitely come back 😊
A seating area surrounded by lush greenery is presented under a clear blue sky. Wooden chairs are positioned on a raised deck, providing a serene view of the tropical landscape. Steps lead down to the stone pathway, enhancing accessibility to the natural surroundings.

Unawatuna, oceanfront villa

CristianRating, 5 stars5 months ago
One of our all-time favourite accomodations, from over 40 countries visited. What we loved: - falling asleep with the sound of waves, which was perfect (not too loud, not too low) - our mornings and sunsets on the terrace of the building - the location inside the forest, and on top of the cliffs - nature all around us, with nice fauna (varan, monkeys, peacocks, small birds) visiting us. Don’t worry, there is nothing dangerous, they avoid people - The access to the cliff which is just a couple of steps away from the villas. Very good place for sunsets and meditation after - The pool is really nice for relaxing swimming at the end of the day - Near 2 beaches : Jungle beach (amaaaazing place) and Unawatuna beach, also very nice - Small cozy restaurants just outside the villas - A lot of space inside, very comfortable beds & pillows - The host and personnel are top-notch. Hospitality at next level. It was my wife’s 25th birthday and they helped us make it memorable. Great experience!

A decorative horse sculpture is placed on a pedestal, while a glass table displays magazines and a vibrant vase of flowers. Orchid Villa #10

AyushRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We had a wonderful stay at this property in Hikkaduwa. The property was clean, private, and surrounded by beautifully maintained greenery. The spacious rooms and bathrooms, along with the garden sitting area, were lovely. It also has a private kitchen with all the essentials, including a washing machine. The hosts were kind, humble, and very helpful. The beaches and eateries were within walking distance, which was a great bonus. However, light sleepers might be disturbed by the nearby railway track. Also, WiFi wasn't available during our July visit due to the off-season. The host informed us that wifi is not available in the off-season from April until September. Despite these minor issues, I highly recommend this property for a relaxing stay.
The villa showcases a red-tiled roof above a spacious outdoor area featuring a private pool. A comfortable seating arrangement is visible, complemented by potted plants. Large glass doors provide access to the interior, while palm trees frame the serene setting.
