Vacation rentals with lake access in South Staffordshire District

Mel was so lovely and friendly, and was perfect with our anxious rescue dog Eric who can be tricky with new people - he likes his space. We felt really at home and all the little extras for Eric - dog towels, blankets, treats and toys were lovely. The Annexe is in a lovely quiet spot with quiet dog walks within 1 minute, so this was perfect for Eric. And it is really well stocked with everything you'd expect in an Airbnb - it genuinely felt as though we were guests rather than a money-making venture. Mel even added some shopping for us that we'd forgotten to bring when she did her shop. Great host, very kind.

The house feels even bigger than it looks in the photos- plenty of room! Super easy from the NEC, only a 10 min drive. James was incredibly helpful and responsive and had even stocked the fridge with food and drinks for us which was such a lovely touch! We would definitely stay here again, in fact we hope to. We booked this accommodation for a conference at the NEC in Birmingham. It was very close to a bus stop for the airport & NEC. The accommodation was also very clean. Atena kept us updated and responded quickly to messages. We'd recommend Atena as a host and this accommodation!

We had a fantastic time at Jamie’s house, a group of ladies, celebrating our 60th birthdays. Each room had an en-suite which was a real plus. The kitchen was fully equipped and we had everything we needed. He even provided toiletries and cleaning products. Jamie replied quickly to our questions. A great location, with the large garden and hot tub. The coffee machine was great too! Highly recommended, we hope to return in the near future.

Stayed here for 6 weeks as I was working in the area . Everything I needed was in walkable distance (pub,take aways,supermarket and town center ). The house was clean and tidy beds where comfortable had every thing we needed.

The property was just as the photos and perfect for a short stay in Worcester. Beds were really comfortable and a well fitted kitchen / dining area. Perfectly located with a few min walk into the City Centre or a nice riverside walks. Lovely café opposite where we enjoyed breakfast. We will definitely visit again.

The apartment was stunning and impeccably clean, located in a fantastic area in Solihull with excellent transport links, restaurants, shops, and more nearby. The host went above and beyond to ensure every need was met. If you’re planning to book in Solihull, this place is undoubtedly at the top of my list!

The house is cozy, spotless, and has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The host was fantastic — very friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with from start to finish. We felt like we’d travelled in time to a few hundred years ago when we arrived to the house! The flat was tastefully decorated, comfortable and has everything we’d needed. The views are breathtaking from the living room and even from the bedrooms and kitchen. Spotless bathroom, there was all amenities we needed. We walked around the beautiful lake, garden is just unbelievable! We read a lot, felt like Jane Austen times. A very special flat in a beautiful setting . We’d come again.

Lovely stay in a great location. Jo & Martin were great hosts. Very accommodating and flexible. We enjoyed our stay. The only thing I would say, is for the money charged for the Airbnb, a few upgrades would make the stay even more better, such as a new modern TV (TV was old and small), a new modern washing machine (again very old), wardrobes needed hangers, a bathroom bin and a bath mat.

This is my second time staying at Funke's place within a year. It definitely makes me feel at home. I love that there is driveway parking, the neighborhood is very quiet. It was very cold in England when I visited in January so the heat was working properly and I was very cozy. As long as this property stays available I will be staying here every year when I visit the UK.

Stunning building and surroundings, wish we could have stayed longer! Great communication with host. We bumped into the grounds keeper/owner on our first walk around the gardens and they pointed out a great enclosed field to let the dogs off lead for a proper run around too. The whole gardens, gatehouse everything was beautiful.

Such a Lovely Stay! We had a great weekend here! The place was really cosy and in a perfect spot. The hosts were super friendly and easy to talk to. Communication was smooth, and check-out was really flexible, which made things so much easier. We especially loved sitting by the pond with the friendly ducks — such a peaceful little moment. Would definitely come back again

We had a great time in this lodge on the edge of a small lake. It was very peaceful. There are a couple of gaps on the floor and worktops of the kitchen but these were minor and didn’t affect our stay. We tried the Indian restaurant on the site and the Willow Tree cafe and they were both good. There are lots of friendly dog owners. I would recommend this lodge.

What a truly beautiful venue if you want a quiet & private setting with amazing views & a trip to wonderful day trip to Ludlow with lazy cafes & a wonderful river walk… beds were comfy, everything you needed & a private hot tub was the perfect end to a days walking!

Rustig gelegen, comfortabele woning in een mooie omgeving. Charles was vriendelijk, stuurde berichtje om te vragen of alles in orde was en kwam ons persoonlijk nog eens begroeten.

We had a wonderful stay at the Lakeside Cottage at the weekend — myself, a friend, and our dogs. Nadine was a fabulous host, warm and welcoming. The place was absolutely beautiful — the photos really don’t do it justice! The accommodation was spotless, super comfy, and a perfect little escape to recharge for a few quiet days.
